| Subject: Raven's nest - words for DiBiase and Edge Tue Dec 24, 2013 9:27 am | |
| Raven can be seen sitting in the highest platform of the arena, nothing but a small spotlight shining on him, as the fans below are silently awaiting his words.JR: How in the hell did he get up there?? King: All bets are off with this nutcase, JR! Just be happy he's not down here this time."The Raven" Upon the Raven's nest I sit, two days to Christmas and nine days to the new year. The year of the vagrant. What drives a man to his goals? What gives a man the inspiration to trudge on and on through endless roadblocks, turmoil and ambiguity? ...as I sit upon the nest I see things that many men do not, nor would many wish to witness. I see the corpulence of a man's wallet, and the flakiness he exhibits as it pertains to achieving his goals.
And what are those goals? A man with seemingly limitless wealth only has everything to lose. A fool such as he... won't realize until it is far past the final knell. To compare him to Ebenezer Scrooge would be doing the timeless Charles Dickens character a grave injustice. Where Scrooge finds the light within the fog of his greedy vision, one Ted DiBiase continues to flounder around in a sea of man-made misery. DiBiase lacks everything in life but his money... and to someone like me, sitting high upon the nest, money has no meaning. There will be no buyouts, there will be no light within the fog of DiBiase's greedy vision. A man whose only goals are to humiliate his contemporaries will find himself thusly humiliated in kind. And if only that were the worst of his foreboding destiny. As I peer out, I see a man who should know he is in far too deep... trapped underneath the weight of his paper savior. It won't save you this time DiBiase. Do you understand? I'll make you understand.
And what of the gallant Edge? What of the fool that so callously put himself in harms way this past week and interrupted what was a simple business transaction between a vagrant and an evil, money grubbing swine? What of him? A man such as Edge... to come dashing out into the headlights and profess to the world that he is but a mediocre afterthought, in the midst of what should be the prime of his life. This man confessed to the world his own mediocrity. In a den of vultures the last thing one should do is identify themselves as the weakest link. From the Raven's nest I see a man with nothing more than self doubt and inner pity for his life and his career. What it should be, and what it inevitably has become. Like a dilapidated house being torn down before its time, Edge's career is imploding by the minute. Can you not hear the ticking, Edge? Can you not understand? I'll make you understand...
Quoth the Raven... Nevermore.JR: Chilling... simply chilling. I don't know what else to say, King. King: I think Raven said enough for every single person in the building just now... he gives me the heebie jeebies!(promo closed feedback wanted) | |

| Very well done. I'll post something after our match (whenever that is). Also I love how he jabs at Edge too. He doesn't want nor needs his help. | |
