Five minutes to midnight Empty
PostSubject: Five minutes to midnight   Five minutes to midnight EmptyFri Jan 17, 2014 7:39 am

Raw is about to off the air.  McIntyre, his belt held high taunts the crowd and leaves the arena.

Cole: Well, that was one hell of a match and one hell of a RAW.  He's Jerry "The King" Lawler, I'm Michael Cole, and we're saying good night from the Sears Center.

Suddenly, the arena goes dark, and the sound of a bell donging echoes throughout the Sears Center.  The crowd roars in anticipation, knowing what this sound means.  A picture of the doomsday clock appears on the titantron.

The bell clangs again, and the lights slowly come up, leaving the arena in a dim half light.  Again the bell sounds, and the Undertaker's voice is heard.

Five minutes until midnight.  Five minutes until the end of this world as we know it.

King: My god Cole, it's the Undertaker.  It's the Undertaker.  He's back.

I think you're right King, we haven't seen the Undertaker in a long time, but it looks like the Deadman is coming back to the WCF.

The image of the Doomsday Clock fades away, and is replaced with the face of the Undertaker.

Last year, Rikishi came into this ring and did what no one else had ever done at Wrestlemania.  He pinned me and he beat me.  Rikishi beat the streak.  He ended my life's work.  What good is a twenty-one and one record?  Perfection is what matters.  Perfection on the grandest stage of them all was what mattered.  Other guys could point to more title reigns, or better merchandise numbers, but I had The Streak.  I had the perfect record at the only event that really matters in this business: Wrestlemania.  The Streak is what mattered.  It mattered to you.  It mattered to WCF executives.  It mattered to the guys in the back.  It mattered....to me.  The mythos of the dead man was what mattered.  And Rikishi shattered it.  Rikishi ended everything I had built in this business.  He ended the Deadman.  He showed the world that I was, in fact, mortal.

Rikishi broke me, and he broke my will.  Wounds like that take a long time to heal.  They take a long time.  A long, long time.  But, they do heal.  And wounds like that, when they do heal, make you stronger.  I am here now, back in the WCF, stronger than I was, better than I was, and angrier than I was.  Rikishi may have shattered the mythos of the Undertaker, but he did not shatter ME.  He beat me, and he wounded me, but he left me alive.  Not even I can come back from the dead, but I am here as evidence that I can come back from even the most devastating defeats.  And now, now my friends, now I am here to wreak that devastation on others.  I now know true pain.  I now know true wounds, and at Wrestlemania I will begin to unleash destruction at those who choose to enter MY ring.  I am no longer the Deadman, but I am still the UNDERTAKER, and I will make my opponents feel the wrath of an angry god.

It's five minutes to midnight.  The witching hour approaches, and at Wrestlemania, the clock strikes midnight for one man.  There's one superstar who I want in my ring at Wrestlemania.  One man who will be my first victim.  One man who will be the first to suffer the torment that I have battled with over this last year.  Randy Orton, at Wrestlemania, you will REST IN PEACE.

Taker drags his thumb across his throat, doing his signature taunt as the camera fades to black.  The crowd roars their approval at the Undertaker's return and in anticipation of Wrestlemania.

Cole: My god King, this is unreal.  Taker is back and he's targeted the Legend Killer.

King: I know it Cole, and if I'm Randy Orton, I've suddenly a very nervous man.  You don't want the Undertaker to be stalking you for two months.  The man is a master of psychological warfare.

I couldn't agree more King, and it sounds like these fans can't wait to see what the Deadman has up his sleeve.  The next two months are bound to be interesting.  Goodnight everyone, and Randy, I hope you lock your doors tight.

Promo closed.  Feedback appreciated. Also, please don't book Undertaker on any Raw cards until after Mania. I want his first match to be at the big dance. I'll still promo each week as him, but no matches please.
