News Announcements - Feb 2nd, 2014

Hey guys, there's just a few announcements for now but expect more throughout the next few weeks. Before we get onto the important stuff I just wanted to wish a very warm welcome to our new members, I hope you come to love this place just as myself and many others have. Also to the members who have stuck around especially after recent events, thank you. This isn't an easy time right now but I truly believe that we can pull through this rough patch and soon this league will be thriving just as it once was. That's enough from me, onto the announcements!

United States Championship Tournament

It's been weeks since we last had a United States champion and that simply will not do. Therefore myself and the rest of the team have decided that there will be tournament starting on this weeks Raw which will span over the next few weeks and ultimately crown two number 1 contenders which will battle it out for the vacant championship at Breaking Point.

As for who will be eligible to take place in this tournament? That's the best part. Unless you're Cody Rhodes, Christian, Austin Aries/Ryback, Randy Savage or AJ Styles, you will automatically be entered into the tournament! For those 5 superstars mentioned you should already be aware as to why you aren't eligible. If not then speak to me personally and I'll let you know.

As previously stated, the tournament will begin on this week's Raw card and the rules are fairly simple. All matches will be drawn at random. The match rules are no different from any other league match. The winners of each match will move on to the next round of the tournament and face another winner on the next week's Raw, this will continue until we have two contenders. If you lose your match then I'm afraid to say you are out but not to worry, there will be plenty more chances to get a title shot. All matches MUST be done, no exceptions. If you have a problem with getting your match done whether it be unable to contact your opponent or anything else, speak to me or any other moderator.

Activity

For a while now the overall activity from all members has slowed way down which I believe it contributing to the collapse of this league. Of course we still have a few loyal members who consistently promo but from the vast majority of us, consistency has been lacking. Whether it be promoting on a regular basis or even getting our Raw matches completed, it needs to be better.

With the United States championship tournament coming up, I believe this is the prime opportunity for EVERYONE to promo. If not about the tournament itself, you could find a feud with another member or create a storyline with your superstar. You could literally do anything you want with your superstar, well almost anything, so I don't see any reason why any of us can't promo. For those looking to win the United States championship, be considered for a future title shot for any title or if you're looking to pick up a second superstar, consistently promoting is a necessity.

As for completing matches I'm going to quote a little from the league rules here. "RAW matches are manditory matches posted each MONDAY of the week." There have been too many matches especially over recent weeks that haven't been completed and it stops here.

From now on, any superstars that don't complete their matches and fail to provide a reason as to why this is will not be booked Raw for a week. If this repeatedly happens then you risk losing one of your superstars if you have two or a longer suspension until such time when we think you're ready to be booked again. If you have any trouble contacting your opponent then speak to a mod or admin. If you have contacted your opponent but they have not responded then post on the Raw card itself regarding this before the end of the Friday.

As we are all aware, we have lost a lot of members within the past month or so and only a few new members have joined. I know this place would be much more lively and interesting if we had more members and personally I think that if we all pitched in, we'd have a bunch of new members in no time.

It's literally as simple going on Gamefaqs or the 2k forums or anything like that and letting everyone know of this amazing community based league where they will be safe from the horrors of playing against cheaters and spammers on the game itself. You could always surf through those cheaters and spammers to try and find someone fair and tell them about the league or simply tell any friends you have that you think might be interested. Whatever way you deem the best, I would like if everyone did their part to advertise this league and I bet we'll have a bunch of new members in no time.

Staff Team

With so many changes going on I thought it'd be a good idea to update everyone on who the staff team actually are. Alternatively you could look at the bottom of the site and see that Admins have solid orange coloured names, Moderators have a light peach colour and everyone else has a plain white colour.

For those who hadn't noticed, with the departure of Batman I (Alveuss) was upgraded from a Moderator to an Admin. Yesterday Twysted decided to step down from the staff team completely which leaves a spot open. So, in order to keep the solid 5-man staff team, myself and the others decided on who would replace Twysted. We needed someone trustworthy, active and most importantly, someone who really cares about restoring this place what it once was.

So on behalf of the rest of the Admins/Moderators I would like to welcome Suntan to the staff team. I know you'll do what you can to help rebuild this league.

So with that we have our 5-man staff team again. 3 Admins and 2 Moderators.
