This has indeed been a great night so far King! And so much more to come, such as our next match. Rob Van Dam taking on the newcomer Chris Hero!
RVD's theme song hits as the crowd lightly cheers
RVD comes out with a mic in hand and he doesn't do the usual theatrics of pointing to himself saying "ROB! Van! Dam!"

Now, over the past few weeks, I haven't felt like my career has been going as good as it should have been....I came back thinking I would be one of the most popular superstars in the WCF. But that all changed when I went into a feud with none other than Brodus Clay. I just couldn't shake off the ring rust I had from being away for so long, and ever since our ladder match, I feel like I haven't been around as much as I was before. I've barely even competed since then, and when I have, I've only got my ass kicked.
But that all changes starting tonight. When I go one-on-one with Chris Hero. I am not gonna just stand here and let my career turn into something meaningless. I came to WCF to be a major superstar, but at the rate I'm going right now, I just feel like a complete jobber....I'm not as big as I used to be, but I'm going to start taking action tonight. So I'm ready! Because I am still, the Whole Dam Show! I'm still Mr. Monday Night.
I'm still ROB! VAN! DAM!
