What do ya say, buddy? Empty

After a match on RAW

JR: Well that was certainly an exciting match, but now we move on to events that began last week. We were all treated to the return of a man who has held numerous belts, became a commentating personality and found himself a job while still in his wrestling career in the finance industry.

King: That's right JR, JBL IS BACK!

A replay of the video displaying JBL's crew setting up a poker table plays.

JR: So what does this mean King?

King: I think it's obvious JR, a certain old band is getting back together!

The crowd get on their feet and cheer as JBL's music hits. JBL appears in his suit, however he is noticeably slimmer than that seen before. A certain amount of stubble is also noticeable.

JR: There's the man himself, John Bradshaw Layfield. A decorated superstar and, well, word on the grapevine is a lot of people want him to replace you King!

King: Is that so? Well maybe it's better he stays on that side of the ropes.

JBL is all smiles on his way down to the ramp, stopping to shake the hands of some fans. He makes his way into the ring where he produces a mic.

JBL: When I first returned to the WWF, I didn't do much. I realized I was wandering with no direction. No purpose. For a man of my caliber, that ain't a good thing. For me, a WRESTLING GOD, to have no purpose? That ain't right. So I quietly left, and I went back to Bermuda. I kept training hard, I hired only the best personal trainer team to help me reach new peaks of physicality. I'm a hard hitting Texan, but I wanted to make sure I was hitting hard than ever before. I hired dieticians to build the perfect diet for my needs. I hired sports analysts to watch my matches and report back to me on any niggles in my gameplan.

JR: Bradshaw is certainly taking this seriously. Regardless of cost.

JBL: I also had those analysts analyse the WWF itself. To see what division would be the easiest to insert myself into. After a few months of data they came back to me. And according to them, the tag division would be the best choice. So JBL was now faced with a question. Who do I tag with? So I kept watching RAW, judging everyone that came on my T.V., trying to decide if they would make a fit with me. I was struggling to make a decision, when out of nowhere, guess who came back?

The crowd begins cheering and starts to chant APA! APA! APA!. JBL smiles and steps back to allow the crowd to continue the chant.

JBL: Haha, this is what I missed! And that's right folks, my old buddy Farooq! He's been tearin' this place up since he came back and it's just like the old days. He's got a fist and he's got backchat. If there was any doubt that he would be up to the standards of the APA he got rid of them when he was challenging for the Intercontinental Title almost immediately.

JBL speaks directly to the camera.

JBL: Ron buddy, you're doing great. In fact, I'd say you've never been better in your singles career. But nothing will ever compare to those days in the APA. Remember them? Those fights, those drinks, those card games and those tag team titles! Imagine holding those titles over our heads one more time! We could knock out either team of TNA rejects that are disgracing the belts. I always bring the best out of you Ron, and I'd be bringing new experiences to the tag team!  Remember that I am a former US, WWF and Hardcore champion in my own right! I'm a better competitor than ever before and that is just scary for anyone who would stand in our way!

The crowd is cheering louder and louder as the intensity increases.

King: I'm getting goosebumps here JR!

JBL: So come on! I got us backstage one of the fanciest card sets, along with a walk in beer closet like we always talked about! I've got enough money to import the best beer in the world! And I've got enough money to hire ourselves our own personal coaches, dieticians, tacticians and belt shiners! Anything we want Ron, I can buy it! This will be APA Incorporated! High rollers, high spenders and big fighters! And we're going to need a pair of wheels, so I managed to dig up this!

JBL points to the stage. A limo then rolls out from backstage, adorned with the APA logo.

(Promo for last week, couldn't get it up in time thats what she said)

The crowd stands up as they await the entrance of Faarooq. They look on towards the ramp, but to no avail. No music hits the PA system.

JBL: "I know you're out there partner! Come on -"

JBL is suddenly cut off by Faarooq's entrance music.

The fans pop, just as their emotions are running low. The music is quickly turned off, and an image of Faarooq can be seen on the titantron instead. The fans boo - they were looking forward to seeing him in person tonight.

Faarooq: "The reason I am up here tonight and not down there is based on my thoughts of the WWFs actions with myself. You see - at the last PPV I was in the running for the Intercontinental belt. Something that belongs around my waist. What the WWF decided was best though was to put me in a scramble match for that belt. Now, I could get over that fact perfectly fine - but after that match, when nothing changed at all - I was casted aside. Here I am this week jobbing to none other than John Cena. So based on my disagreements - I am not out in that ring with you tonight because I don't feel welcomed. Simple as that."

JR: "Well it seems to me King that Faarooq is being a sore loser."

King: "Well I agree with you there JR but he has a point. They forgot about him! He fought hard and has certainly impressed the masses with his work since joining back with the WWF."

What do ya say, buddy? Vlcsnap2011011921h15m47

Faarooq: "As to your offer Bradshaw - I respectfully decline. I know that we used to be best of buddies and an amazing tag team - but I am currently destroying superstars left and right, no matter what the WWF team has in store for me. You and I got separated in the draft years back, bringing the end of APA along. Tonight though, you stand there and offer me to reboot it - but I just can't be bothered right now to accept such a request. Bradshaw - I know we are best of friends and always have each other's backs - but tonight I have to keep that door closed."

The crowd boos in disbelief.

Faarooq: "But tonight, I must face John Cena - so Bradshaw, I guess this is where our paths finally end, for good."

The camera pans to Bradshaw who is stunned. He looks around as he fumbles for what to say.

The crowd begins to boo as Farooq disappears from the screen. JBL stares at the screen.

JR:How do you think JBL is going to take this?

King: He's just been embarrassed by Farooq! I wouldn't take it very well!

JBL lifts the mic to his mouth, looks around the arena, then smiles.

JBL: Well people, Rome wasn't built in a day and it looks like te same for the APA!

JR:JBL is certainly coping with this!

JBL leaves the ring waving to the fans as he gets into the limo and it reverses up the ramp.

JBL: I'm going to keep this short. Used pictures, commentary, you acknowledged the previous JBL and you're starting a new/old tag team... Basically you carried this promo. If only there was more of a response from Bunka that son of a bitch you'd have more to work with and that would've taken you to a 5. Close though. +4Sp

Faarooq: ............ Damn! +2.5Sp
