Cody is walking around the ring, a mic in his hand and the biggest smile on his face. He stops and stares at the crowd, they cheer, letting him know they love him. He raises his mic.
Cody
You know, all last week people were asking me, why? Why did you offer a reunion between yourself and Drew McIntyre? Why are you siding with the man who cost you the WWF Championship? And the answer is pretty simple. Why not? Drew is a great competitor, a great athlete and a great champion. And I hope that'd he say the same thing about me. I didn't offer Drew the chance to reform the Dashing One's without a reason. I did it because we're good together. When Drew and I step into that ring, we put on a show. We STEAL the show. Whether we're fighting each other or teaming up. That match that we had last week. . . It felt right. Taking down The Legion's Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler was no easy task, but we got it done, and we put on a show doing it. So, why did I ask Drew to be my partner once again? Because it's how it should be. Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre side by side, busting heads and taking names.
Cody lowers his mic and nods, walking around a bit before coming to a stop.

Now I know Drew was skeptic at first, and I don't blame him. But now I think he's really into the idea. Keep this between us, but I saw him singing my theme song backstage the other day. And hey, whatever, my theme song is pretty damn catchy. But the point is that he's realizing that I'm right. The two of us are better together than we are apart. When we first started The Dashing One's, it wasn't so good. We were pushed way down the ladder, I mean, we only had one tag team match, and. . . I'll admit, Drew lost it for us. No, I kid, I kid, I lost it. And I know he didn't take it to well, maybe that's what started our whole 'feud' thing. But let me go on record right now and say that I didn't mean any of the things I said to Drew throughout that entire rivalry. I was in a bad place. Doing things I wouldn't normally do. I was in the wrong mindset, and Drew, if you can hear me, I'm sorry.
Cody lowers his mic as the arena fills with cheer, the crowd happy that Rhodes has apologized. He smirks, then lifts his mic again.
Cody
Thank you, thank you. It's been a long time coming. But Drew is a good friend, and I wouldn't dream of ever doing anything that stupid again. But enough of that sappy stuff, The Dashing One's are back together baby, let's rejoice! And this time, we're going to do it right, we are going to win those tag team titles, mark my words. Cross my heart, and. . . Some other saying about promises. The Dashing One's will not be overlooked this time, no, this time, we are going to rise to the top. . . Together! And there we will stay.
J.R.: Wow, that was. . . Interesting to say the least. Cody has just promised us many things, but the question is, does he mean them?
King: Psssh, who cares, I just hope this whole 'Dashing One's' business disappears as fast as it appeared.
J.R.: Oh, knock it off King. Aren't you at least a little excited to see what will come of these two?
King: Meh.
Rhodes nods once again, letting the fans know he means what he says. The crowd begins to chant, "Dashing One's, Dashing One's, Dashing One's!" Rhodes laughs, joining in on the chant. As Cody and the fans continue, Drew McIntyre's theme blasts over the speakers and Cody's attentions turn to the stage area.
(TBC by Drew.)
