As Smackdown comes back from commercial Josh Matthews is shown standing backstage with a mic in hand, apparently ready to give an interview.

John Matthews: Ladies and gentlemen at this time, Kenta Kobayashi.

KENTA steps on screen and a rather mixed reaction can be heard from the arena crowd.

John Matthews: First of all KENTA, I would like to ask, why didn't you chase after Seth Rollins on RAW? I mean, being a man of all this honor and dignity shouldn't you have chased him down and got what you deserved? Especially after he spit in your face?

KENTA: Josh, I'll explain it nice and simple. You see, I didn't need to chase down Seth Rollins to 'get what I deserved' or 'teach him the lesson of honor and respect'. Yes, he may have spit in my face and yes, he cowardly left the match, but while he was walking up the ramp, smiling at me like he did something good, he is the one shaming his family name. If he wants to do that, if he wants to think he is accomplishing something by playing the cowardly lion and in doing that he hurts his own honor, his own dignity, and the ground that his family stands on, then so be it. Who am I to stop him from tarnishing his own legacy?

Josh Matthews: Right. Well, before we get to the question everyone is dying to know, what made you sign with WCF?

KENTA: Again, Josh, its simple. If you watched RAW this week, during my confrontation, I signed with WCF to simply face CM Punk in what will be a glorious battle. A battle between same differences. The 'I am on Top' vs 'Best in the World'. The 'G2S' vs 'GTS'. Its something that true wrestling fans all around the world will enjoy. But, the past few days I realized that isn't my only goal. You see, after CM Punk I'm gonna take on the very best that WCF has to offer. From small guys like Dean Ambrose to the Undisputed Champion himself, I will take them all on. Win or lose? It doesn't matter. My goal is give the fans something entertaining to look forward to.

Josh Matthews: Sounds like a goal the people are going to enjoy seeing. Which brings me to the burning the WCF Universe and everyone backstage is wanting to know. Why did you choose CM Punk, over most of the WCF roster?

KENTA: What exactly are you asking?

Josh Matthews: Well, why did you choose CM Punk, someone who has done almost little to nothing instead of someone like Christopher Daniels or Cody Rhodes who have accomplished a lot in their career here in WCF?

KENTA: You see, that is the exact type of question that makes me sick. Just because he hasn't accomplished a lot doesn't mean he doesn't have the talent. And the fact that you seem to think so, is just utterly idiotic. Take Cody Rhodes for example. This kid does have talent, and he has accomplished a lot, but do you realized how he managed to accomplish everything? By cowardly hiding behind others. You see, I've done my research and I know the history of WCF. I know that Cody first hid behind Drew McIntyre, then behind Edge, then behind RISE, then behind Drew McIntyre once again, and now he is hiding behind his new stable. Sure, he became champion, but its something he couldn't have accomplished on his own. Then you have a guy like CM Punk. Sure, he was a part of RISE and Legion, but he didn't use his teammates to help him accomplish every little aspect in his career. I've watched him closely and I can even see that he has fought tooth and nail to get where he his today, which is more than most people can say. So before you go and open your mouth with another dumb question that questions my morals, think carefully.

Josh seems a bit uneasy as KENTA looks up. The camera zooms out to show CM Punk standing on the opposite side of Matthews in a hoodie and shorts.

.:CM Punk:. Josh , Josh , Josh ..... what did i just here you say about CM Punk ? i havent accomplished anything eh ? No .... no your right iv only held both the US Championship and the Tag Team Championship , but no your right its not like i was one of the first people drafted to WCW during the brand split or anything. And yeah Josh its not like im main eventing Raws while your sitting around on NXT .... Ya know the old CM Punk would have slammed your head into that cinder brick wall over .... and over .... and over .... and over until maybe you could think and process thought like a normal human or untill your body went lifeless in my hands , but iv turned over a new page joshy boy

CM Punk sets his hand on joshes shoulder and continues

.:CM Punk:. Yep im working on getting back to my zen roots , thats part of being straight edge ya know , clarity of mind , nothing pluggin up the old censors here ya know. But realisticly josh i wandered back here not to really talk to you , i mean i will , i just didnt plan on it ..... well hey just for fun , for the old shits and giggles why dont you ask CM Punk a question huh ?

Josh begins to speak but is cut off quickly and shrinks back out of what oone would have to assume is fear

.:CM Punk:. Remember Josh anything you want , do your jurnalistic duty and ask the real digging questions that all the WCF universe wants to here eh ? No knees no beat downs no retaliations a month down the line. Just some good old fashion Chicago made honesty .

Josh whos every single sense is screaming that this is a trick allows himself to bring his mic back to his face and although is obviously nervous begins to speak

Well .... Mr Punk .... after losing your title to Cody Rhodes just about 9 days ago , weve all knoticed a bit of a personality change and im sure no one expected to see you shake KENTAs hand on Monday Night , so im sure its on the mind of everyone , is this change perminant and if so was loseing your first singles title in WCF the final straw that broke your evil ways ?

Punk looks angrily down at josh who is looking back up at punk and doing a very very good job of holding his own and keeping eye contact . Punk whipes his face a bit and then runs his hand over the back of his head leans down into the mic and speaks kindly and quietly ...

.:CM Punk:. Are you serious Josh ? are you really gunna ask that question in that way ? First you insult Kenta's motives and then you question my integrity ? Let me ask you a "journalistic" question huh ? Why are you a failed wrestler ? huh ? Why are you such a damn idiot huh ? How come you gel that stupid little flip in your hair up huh ? ..... Dose that feel good ? dose it ? Not Fun is it , kinda hurts ? How DARE YOU .... Naw im just kidding with ya josh .... heh .... yeah losing my first singles title changed me just a bit , and i shook this fella heres hand because hes the first guy to recognize how great i am and admit it , but dont think i want to be best friends with the guy its a respect thing josh , and respect and honor mean alot to men like me , but on to the real reason i drug myself out of the back for a minute , was to talk to you Mr Kenta, i want to have some words about a match coming up at a ppv between you and i , cuz i have to be honest with you a simple one on one isnt very satisfying ... maybe a cell , a cage , some fire .... whats gunna peak your intrest huh

KENTA smiles as he looks at Punk and slowly nods his head, happy to see Punk still interested.

KENTA: Well, Punk, I'm up for anything. I don't know how well I'll fair in an Iron Man match or a Ladder match because that just wasn't our thing in Japan but, I'll take you on in them.

As the two men pause to think, Josh steps in.

Josh Matthews: Well, I have an idea.

Punk and KENTA slowly turn to look at Matthews, clearly showing interest in what he might have to say.

Josh Matthews: Well, we are just two weeks away from Unforgiven, what if you two picked two guys to represent you and had them face off in a one vs one each week. The leader of the winning team would get to add or remove a stipulation.

KENTA loses his smile as he goes deep in thought and Punk nods his head. Suddenly, KENTA and Punk lock eyes and smile.

KENTA: You know what Josh, that might just work. Team KENTA vs Team Punk to determine the stipulation for KENTA vs Punk. I like it. What about you?
