Jerry "The King" Lawler: Welcome back everybody to Thursday Night SmackDown! We are live at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York! I'm here with good ol' JR, Jim Ross!
Jim Ross: Welcome everyone, this has been a great night so far, and it's only gonna get better, you can just feel the hype going into Unforgiven this Sunday!! We feel it, and the crowd feels it, you can just tell from the ovation! It's gonna be great!!
Jerry: You said it J.R, Unforgiven is only 2 days away, you can just feel the anticipation. Christopher Daniels defends the WCF Undisputed Championship against two former World Champions, The Miz and "Captain Charisma" Christian! That's gonna be an instant classic. We will also have Austin Aries trying to take the Intercontinental Championship from Paul Wight. I guess it's safe to say Aries won't be able to hit the Brainbuster on The Giant.
JR: You can bet on that one, King. He'll have to take another page out of his book, maybe the 450 splash or maybe, if he can get The Giant on his stomach and get a hold of his tree-trunk sized legs, he may be able to apply the Last Chancery. But the 450's his best bet against this monster. And don't forget the former NXT Champion, Bill Waters, gets his chance against Cody Rhodes for an opportunity at the United States title, can Bill prove himself as a major superstar or will Cody find a way to keep the title? KENTA takes on CM Punk in a grudge match, and that's not the only grudge match, the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, with Paul Heyman in his corner, takes on Dolph Ziggler. Knowing Heyman, he'll find a way to get involved. But that's enough of Unforgiven, back to SmackDown!

As Rob Van Dam steps in the ring, he points to himself and mouths the words "ROB, VAN, DAM" which the crowd chants
RVD puts the mic to his mouth, then stops and walks around the ring and raises his arms, which gains a pop from the crowd. He stops walking and puts the mic up to his mouth. Before he has a chance to speak, the crowd chants "RVD! RVD! RVD" He lets the chant die down and then begins to speak.
RVD: It's great to be back!!
The crowd cheers loudly.
RVD: Man, I miss this.....coming out every week to cheers from each and every one of you, stepping in the ring, and doing what I do best. And now that I'm back, I'm just gonna keep on doing that. I've had issues with the guys running the show in the back before, but dude, I'm back now and I'm not going anywhere. You can love me, or you can hate me. It's obvious, though, that most people love me. Am I right?!
The crowd starts chanting "Yes! Yes! Yes!"
RVD: I thought so, now it's obvious that there's some people that don't like me. That's alright with me, even the best people have people who despise them. Take the WCF Champion, Christopher Daniels for example.

RVD: Now from what I just heard from you guys, you really don't like him. I like him, you know, he's a pretty decent wrestler and he's good on the mic. He's the WCF Champion, he's on top of the WCF, but the worst part about that is, you always have a huge target planted on your back the second you win that title. Trust me, for a guy who's held both the ECW and WWE Championships at the same time, I know how that feels, I really do. But enough about that, I am back now and I am back for 2 reasons. The first and foremost reason, I came back for all of you guys! You make me feel awesome, dude.

RVD: You guys are the greatest.....and the second reason I came back here, is to win championships and make a name for myself again. My name is already famous with most of you guys. However, I want to make a bigger name for myself in WCF. So I will go for whatever title I choose, whether it's the United States, Intercontinental, or WCF Champion! I promise, no, I SWEAR, I will be a champion again!! Because I am the Whole Damn Show, I am One of a Kind, I am....
Fantastic return promo Silent! You always were a good promoer, just not active enough to keep a storyline going. If you keep up these kind of Promos, you'll have some pretty decent feuds! Good job man
