As Raw rolls on, Cody struts his way down the ramp, ignoring all of the screaming fans in attendance tonight. His focus is on the ring and with his theme music blasting over the PA system he marches towards it.
Once he's made his way into the squared circle, he takes a moment to take everything in, looking around at the millions of people in the arena. He then cracks a wide smile, laughing a bit.
Cody
All day long people have been asking me how I feel about being booked against both John Laurinaitis and his dog Triple H. But what they fail to realize is that I asked for this match. I requested that Big Johnny suit up and march his way down to this ring tonight to take me on, and hey, if he wanted to bring his boy toy, the more the merrier! So. . . I feel good about this match. After my actions last week against John, I felt that I should give him his fair shot at some revenge. And while I know I can take him down with a simple knock on the head, it'll be interesting to see just how much I'll be fighting Mr. HHH tonight. Because let's face it, the amount of time Johnny will be in the match is about the same amount of time that Hunter spends pleasuring his wife, ZERO. But that's okay, I jump at the chance to take on Triple H and prove to him just how much better I am. The old dog needs to learn his place, both of them do! So that's how I feel about my match tonight. I feel great!
Cody twirls his mic around a little, walking around for a moment before coming to a stop. He takes a deep breath and holds it in, buffing out his chest and widening his shoulders.
Cody
"My weapon of choice, is this, the stick of doom, the cheap way out, and while my wife sits at home picking out my outfit for tomorrow, I'll be here, rubbing my sledgehammer, all day and all night!"
The fans get a kick out of Cody's impersonation of Hunter and begin to laugh. He himself smirks and continues on.
Cody
I hope my message got through to you last week Hunter; I don't need a weapon to win my matches. I don't need to take the easy way out to get where I want to get. I got to where I am today through hard work and determination. I'm standing here holding this championship because I deserve to. Not because my wife or my boyfriend moved some things around. You don't deserve this title, you don't even deserve to step into this ring. What you deserve is a nice retirement home, maybe out in Florida, eh? Actually, I brought some brochures with me today, where did I put them, ah, I must have left them backstage, oh well. The point is, that with myself as my witness, you will not walk out of No Mercy. . . Not with this title, not at all. Because-
Cody is cut off by the boom of Triple H's theme song. The Hunter marks rise to their feet and begin to cheer as The Game burst through the entrance way and makes his way down the ramp. Cody stands in the center of the ring, smiling. He watches as Triple H marches past the screaming fans and begins to climb up the steel steps. Once inside the ring, Hunter snatches a mic from ringside and takes position across the ring from Rhodes.
(To be continued by Hunter. Leave it back open to me please.)

Triple H: "Cody I'm tired of hearing you dicking around and being all cocky. I bet even all of the crowd here in this arena is tired of just seeing you."
*The fans cheer towards Triple H trashing Cody*
Triple H: "I know you love challenges and win them every damn time when you are confronted with one, but you don't have to talk about your cocktail buddy. That's just over the limit there. Besides, I bet your newly married wife knows that Triple H has a bigger member then you do."
*Triple H grins while the fans laugh. Cody starts walking towards Triple H and bumps his chest with his own. The two stare at each other for a few seconds, then Triple H bring the mic to his mouth.*
Triple H: "Look Cody. Everything that happens tonight is going to do nothing for us at No Mercy. You could defeat Johnny and I, because this will be my first Raw match ever since I came back. Since the others were no shows. Example; Christian couldn't come because he was to scared of me because I hit him so hard, that his 5 second pose was a Pedigree to the mat. So yeah, you could beat me. Because you are a superstar that has a never say die attitude, you never quit and never cares about anyone else but yourself. I think you will kick my ass tonight, but will you do it coming No Mercy, who knows."
Triple H: "I just want to say, as much as I hate to say it, I respect you. Besides, You remind me of my self when I first came into the wrestling business, as much as you hate to here it. And if you want to hit me or shake my hand, do what you want, because I don't think you even care about what I'm saying or about anyone else for that matter. But maybe here this; If you manage to beat John and I, then I will owe you one because I am a respectful man."
*Triple H waits towards Cody's smart remark*

Cody pauses for a moment, lowering his head and rubbing his chin. He then looks up at Hunter and laughs a bit before raising his mic up to respond.
Cody
Hunter. . . You don't know the first damn thing about respect. You don't respect me, you don't respect anybody. And hey, that's how you roll, you kick ass and take names. . . Well, that's how you use to roll, now you use a wheelchair. But that's beside the point. The POINT, is that tonight, I'm going to prove that you stand no chance at No Mercy. When I pin you in the middle of this ring, 1, 2, 3, tonight, you and everybody in this arena will know that Cody Rhodes is the best that this company has to offer. But more importantly, Big Johnny will know that he should never have crossed me. Because you don't cross the boss, and I am indeed. . . The boss!-
Just as Cody is finishing his speech a voice overshadows his own. It echoes throughout the arena, throwing some fans to their feet and causing other to boo loudly.
Voice
Hello. . . Hello everyone, yes, hello!
Cody turns to face the big screen and is met with the ugly mug of none other than Big Johnny.
Johnny
Ah, Cody, it's good to see you! Regardless of your brutal, barbaric, weak attack on myself last week. I forgive you, you see, I'm not one to hold a grudge. And to be honest, I was a little shocked when I found out that you requested this handicap match tonight. I couldn't tell if you were just stupid or if you were braver than I had thought. I decided to go with the stupid option. My client Triple H is more of a man than you will ever be, Cody. And he will indeed beat you for that United States Championship in three weeks time at No Mercy! But who says we have to wait until then, or for tonight's match?
Cody flashes a confused look as John's smile widens. The fans can be heard cheering louder and louder and finally Cody takes notice, turning around to face Hunter. He's met with a thunderous sledgehammer shot straight to the stomach, sending him to the mat riving in pain. Big Johnny continues to smile and laugh as Triple H sets up for another hammer shot, stalking the downed Rhodes. Cody, holding his stomach, gets to his feet only to be met with another shot, but this time it's to his jaw. He falls back, his head smacking into the mat. He's out like a light and Hunter is overjoyed. John nods to Triple H as the crowd are on their feet, most cheering for the attack on Rhodes, but some are repulsed. Hunter smiles big as his theme song once again hits the PA system, Johnny's face fading away from the big screen. Triple H takes one last look down at Cody before raising his sledgehammer high in the air, celebrating his accomplished ambush.
