Smackdowns pyro begins booming threw out the arena and the crowd is on there feet giving a boisterous round of applause , cameras pan around the crowd picking up pictures of people with their signs ready for the night before the commentators even begin too speak and just like on RAW the static hits
Do i have your attention now
Out storms the number one contender to the Undesputed Championship , the rage and excitement burning in his eyes as he yells loudly stepping out onto the ramp , and the crowd returns in favor blowing the roof off of the building for the straight edge messiah .
He spins around several times arms out to his side before dropping down hard on both knees , he smiles as he points around the crowd , laughing at their reaction , he bows a couple times then finally takes a quick look at his favorite imaginary watch and prudently announces that it is indeed CLOBBBBEERRRIIINNNN TTTTTIIIMMMMMEEEE. He throws the fist out landing backwards and points to the back of his t shirt as all but parades down to the ring.
.:Cole:. Ladies and Gentalman as we kick off smackdown out comes the number one contender to to the Top championship in our company , CM Punk , Im Micheal Cole joined of course by the legend Jerry "The King" Lawler. and boy do we have a show ahead of us
.:King:. Well thats right Micheal but it looks like before we even get a chance to talk about it CM Punk has come out to take the show hostage. But what really gets me is how in just over a month these people have gone from Hating this man to cheering him on ? Do these people not remember who CM Punk is ?
Punk gets down next to the ring and turns his head back toward the crowd and yells out "WHATS MY NAME" The Crowd responds in unison loudly as punk prepares to enter the ring mic in hand.
.:Cole:. Well king week after week it seems like punk is gaining more and more fans but i gotta tell you king i totally get it. Hes been proving himself as a changed man every night since the break up of the Legion. Hes done nothing but show respect.
.:King:. I dont know Cole , this seems to me like a roose of some sort , i dont trust punk farther than i can throw him , and i have a feeling this is all gunna come back to spite these people.
.:Cole:. Point is though it looks like Smackdown is getting kicked off in the ring tonight with CM Punk whos obviously got something on his mind.
The Camera shows punk standing in the middle of the ring as his music fades out and the crowd begins to tail off so the second city saint can talk
.:CM Punk:. Well folks .... , its been one hell of a past couple weeks hasnt it ? Superstars coming and going every week , Kenta headed back to Japan , Christian quits the company WHILE hes the champion , which is just .... beyond my fucking comprehension honestly. Managements gone threw a shuffle , No ones seen Christopher Daniels since last Sunday , who knows where he is maybe back in RoH or something , but needless to say its been one , very strange long confusing week full of changes .... but one thing is still here and very very real and hes standing in this ring ring now , and its name is CM Punk , and i havnt gone and quite frankly wont be going anywhere for a long long time , and in this crazy time of turmoil and confusion i continue with a handful of other guys in the back that know who they are and i dont have to name, to hold this company in place. Reason being as following , iv never quit a damn thing in my life before , and i just so happen to be the best wrestler in the world today ......
The Fans cheer as punks speaks his mind in the ring he gestures around the ring as if he was going to say something then stops and looks out at the crowd.
.:King:. You see Cole he still keeps talking about how good he is , thats a respectful guy to you ?
.:CM Punk:. Alright guys heres the deal heres what CM Punk is gunna bring to the table tonight , its fairly simple , im cm punk , best in the world , im the number one contender to the wcf undisputed championship , there is no champion ..... CM Punk should get that belt maybe ?
The crowd pops loudly chanting CM PUNK !!! CM PUNK !!!
.:CM Punk:. Shit guys with all the other crazy shit going on why the hell not. You people want it , i want it , the management needs it i say lets do this thing , either toss me the belt and call me a champ or put me in the ring with somebody right now and we'll fight for that title right here , TONIGHT ! See i dont give a half of a single solitare shit what i have to go through to get my hands on that title , i have been working every night and rather you love me , or you hate me i came every single week and gave everything i had in this ring to give these people on hell of a show , and while other people have come and gone i have been busting my ass for almost a year here putting on match of the night honors so you tell me who you think is a better face for this company huh ? Do these people behind , next too and around me seem like they need or want anything better than the best in the world? So i don't care what , who , how , why or at what time in the next too hours but i expect to here about what were gunna do with your number one contender and that shinny 20 pound belt of validation. And maybe while i wait ill head over and do some good old CM Punk Commentary with Cole and King , some one heres got a blazer for me right ?
before punk can even get out of the ring he is cut off

The crowd cheers as John Laurinaitis steps from behind the curtain, his usual smile on his face and a microphone in hand. He motions for the sound to cut his music and he is granted his request as the music dies and he begins to speak.
John Laurinaitis: First of all, I'd like to welcome the ever legendary CM Punk to Smackdown! Punk, it is an honor to have you on my show and to have you in such high spirits.
By this point, Big Johnny has surprising made it to the ring quickly as he only lowers the mic to climb in the ring.
John Laurinaitis: Now, I will agree with you that things have been hectic. My prize possession in KENTA disappeared from the company, that lack luster champion Christian disappeared, and one of the top talents in Christopher Daniels has been no where to be found. And in all of this confusion, CM Punk is STILL the Number One Contender to the Undisputed Championship. So you know what Punk, I'd like to be the first of many to personally say, on the behalf of WCF Management, that you should IN FACT just be handed the title as a reward for all that you have accomplished in your short time in the company. As a matter of fact, let's bring the title out here now and just get it over with!
Big Johnny motions towards the back but is not greeted with the site he wanted to see.

The crowd react with mixed feelings as the Chairwoman of the WCF and the General Manager of Monday Night RAW steps out onto the stage looking less than pleased with both Laurinaitis and Punk. She snatches the microphone out of Laurinaitis' hands which surprisingly pushes the crowd in her favour as they don't seem to fully trust the intentions of the Smackdown General Manager yet.
Stephanie McMahon Mr. Laurinaitis... I do hope you aren't forgetting who it is that signs your paychecks. Allow me to refresh your memory. It's me, I sign your paychecks. You are my employee, you do what I tell you to. You are the General Manager of Smackdown, like it or not, you have no control over what happens on RAW, this is my show and I am the one who makes the decisions. So get the hell off my stage, and go back to your office to prepare for an excellent edition of Thursday Night Smackdown because I assure you, I'll be watching very closely. Do not make me regret hiring you... Now get out of my sight!
The crowd appear to be back to a mixed stance now as John Laurinaitis stares into the cold eyes of Stephanie McMahon as she points toward the entrance, waiting for him to leave before she continues.
Stephanie McMahon Now Punk, I realise that you're frustrated right now and you have every right to be. You believe you deserve the championship, and I promise you I will get to that... However first there are a couple of things that I feel as the Chairwoman of the WCF, it is my obligation to address. First of all, the release of the former World Heavyweight Champion, Christian. I was watching the replay of the main event at Unforgiven and it quicky became apparent to me that something was wrong, so I ordered for all three men competing to take mandatory health checks. Unfortunately it took two weeks for the results to come through, but when they did, it was revealed that Christian was under the influence of performance enhancement drugs during the match, which I'm sure you understand Punk, is something I simply can not condone. He was instantly stripped of his World Heavyweight Championship belt and released from his WCF contract. I can assure you, we have severed all of our ties with him for the time being.
Punk cracks a smile and the crowd seem thrilled at the fact that Christian is gone.
Stephanie McMahon As for the other two men who took part in that match, both passed the tests with flying colours. However, as I have said numerous times before, Christopher Daniels is not good for business, so I had no choice but to release both Daniels and his tag team partner Frankie Kazarian from their contracts as well... But as I'm sure you'll be glad to hear, The Miz will indeed remain as a WCF Superstar and will continue to entertain and wrestle for you.
The crowd are at a stalemate again, pleased that The Awesome One gets to keep his job, but also annoyed that Bad Influence will no longer be appearing on the show.
Stephanie McMahon Now I promised you that I would address your situation Punk, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. You were indeed named as the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, and this change of circumstances have indeed made the situation a little cloudy to say the least... We may not have a World Heavyweight Champion at this time, but that doesn't mean that we're just going to hand the Championship over to you, it doesn't work like that Punk, you should know this by now... But don't worry Punk, you'll still get your shot, all I'm saying is that If you want something, you have to earn it... As much as I'm sure this crowd would love to see you compete here tonight with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line, but I'm afraid that's simply not going to happen. This crowd doesn't deserve to see a match of that calibre...
The crowd are furious with Stephanie for trashing them and Punk is seen shaking his head in the ring as Stephanie appears to be smirking at him from the ramp.
Stephanie McMahon No, a match like that needs to be in stars, it needs to have advertising, it needs to be on a big show... It needs to take place at No Mercy! All that we need is someone for you to compete against. See Punk, Christian may have failed to get the job done, but he was taken care of, he's no longer relevant... But this guy, he's the most relevant superstar on RAW and he knows it. His career here is beyond impressive, having competed in numerous matches with the biggest names to pass through this company, his resume speaks for itself... In fact, you know him pretty well yourself... Please Punk, give a warm welcome to your opponent for the World Heavyweight Championship...

Dolph's music hits and Dolph charges out like a bat out of hell.
Ziggler turns his back on the crowd and gyrates his hips, sending his hands up through his hair, flicking them up and out. He spins around on one foot and pumps his fist in the air. He looks down at Punk in the ring and smirks. He then stares over at Laurenitis and waves his hand at him dismissively. He saunters over to Stephanie, smiling a huge grin and shakes her hand. She hands him the mic and Dolph begins to speak.
Thank you Stephanie for that wonderful introduction. And thank you for recognizing my talent and potential within this company. You know, it's people like Big Johnny over here, that have kept me back my entire career. Yeah I know I've essentially the face of the WCF for the last eight months or so, I mean hell, we even had a PPV called Dolphapalooza, but there was always something missing, always the final piece of the puzzle, the final turn of the rubix cube. I didn't realize that until I received a call after my match with Brock Lesnar from Stephanie. Up until that moment I hadn't known what was missing to secure my legacy within this company, but Stephanie made it as clear as day, as clear as the acne that oozes disgustedly all over your stupid faces. I mean, seriously, I can see it from here and it's gross. Haven't you people ever heard of Proactive?
The crowd boos Ziggler as he kisses up to Stephanie and insults them. Stephanie smiles wickedly as Dolph continues.
Stephanie couldn't share the results of Christian's blood test, after all that would violate his medical rights, but she did say that the WCF title was going to be vacated and she wanted me to go and win it for her. Now, I've had chances at that title before. In fact, I've probably been in more championship matches than anyone else on this roster, and each time I've come up a fingertip short. Each time I've had that title within my grasp, a conspiracy has pulled it away at the last second. And each time that conspiracy has been perpetrated by morons in suits who think they know what is best for business. But not this time. This time, I've got the owner of WCF in my corner. This time, it's just me versus Punk in that ring for my title. And this time, I've got a brilliant man whispering in my ear, giving me advice, exposing all of Punk's weaknesses. This time, I've got Paul Heyman.
The crowd is stunned into silence as Heyman's music hits and Paul strolls out to join everyone. He has got his signature sleazy smile on his face and he carries a microphone.
Heyman walks over to shake Dolph's hand and then moves over to Stephanie and shakes her hand as well. He glances over at Laurenitis and Punk and chuckles to himself. He then addresses the crowd.
Paul: Thank you Dolph and thank you Stephanie. I might as well even take this opportunity to thank you as well John, and you too, Punk. It has been your arrogance, your narcissism, your myopic view of this business that has allowed Stephanie, Dolph, and I to move unnoticed in the shadows, to move quietly and confidently in the direction of the WCF title. CM Punk, you come out here tonight and declare yourself the best in the world, and the rightful heir to that title, and you don't even consider for one moment that more intelligent people, more beautiful people, more talented people are waiting for you to be distracted for one moment so that we can pull the rug right out from under you.
Punk looks confused and shouts something towards Paul. Laurinitis attempts to cut Heyman off, but Paul won't let him.
Now now John, you've had your little moment. It's time to let the grown-ups talk. You see Punk, we have no intention of just handing you that title. In fact, we have no intention of you getting anywhere near that title. After Brock eviscerated Dolph Ziggler in front of millions of viewers, Dolph came to me. He told me that he was tired of coming so close and never getting over the mountain. He told me that he was embarrassed by the way that the WCF was wasting his career. He told me that he needed advice, and he told me those oh so important words, "I want to be a Paul Heyman guy".
Ziggler nods his approval as the crowd boos.
And, since I'm the premier talent evaluator in the world, recognized that Dolph Ziggler was a real champion. Dolph Ziggler was a champion that the world could be proud of, so I agreed to mentor Dolph Ziggler, to show him how to achieve his unlimited potential. And it was only two days later that Stephanie McMahon called.
Stephanie smiles and waves to the crowd. They boo her and Paul and Dolph.
You see folks -
Hold on a second Paul. I want to make sure that this message is received loud and clear by these monkeys and by Mr. People Power and his pet project. I want them to hear this from me.
Punk, you know you can't beat me. You've been riding my coattails since I made Rise the greatest stable this company has ever seen. You followed me to The Legion because you knew that without me, you were nothing. You're pathetic Punk. You're not the best in the world, you're not even the best in this building. In fact, you're not even the best in that ring and you're the only person standing in it. So you join forces with a man who has no real power and whose voice sounds like an eighty year old smoker with lung cancer? Poor form Punk, poor form. At No Mercy, you're not just getting in the ring with The Show Off, you're getting in the ring with perfection.
And you get to see that perfection up close and personal tonight Punk. You get a free little preview of what you're in for come No Mercy. Tonight, you and I are tag team partners against Daniel Bryan and John Cena. But guess what Punk? I don't give a damn about Daniel Bryan and John Cena. I don't care about beating them. I don't care about making sure they lose. I only care about one thing, getting in your head. Every time I tag you in, and believe me Punk, it's going to be a lot, you better have eyes in the back of your head, because I'm gunning for you. Paul has told me all of your weaknesses. I know your strengths, which, by the way, are few and far between. I know the chink in your armor Punk and you can bet the house that I'm going to exploit the hell out of it. So here's what I advise as your former role model. Stay the hell away Punk. Buy a couple of plane tickets for you and Big Johnny to go on spa retreat in Tahiti. You guys can sip fruity cocktails and get your skin exfoliated together while I take over this company with the help of this man (he indicates Heyman) and this woman (he indicates Stephanie). I've got both the devil and the angel in my corner Punk. What do you have? A washed up wrestler in a suit who never made it to the big time. So what d'ya say Punk, you ready to throw in the towel?
