Cody's Plan

Raw returns from it's commercial break to find the big screen lit up with the image of both Dolph and Cody, talking in their locker room. Rhodes looks even more angry than usual while Dolph sits on a bench, wrapping some tape around his hands.

Cody

I mean. . . Who the hell does he think he is, huh? Does he really think he can just come back after all this time and do what he did to me!? To the United States Champion!? What in the hell was Stephanie thinking? Goddamn it this is a disaster. Dolph. . . Dolph, are you even listening to me? We've got to do something about this!

Dolph lifts his head up and shakes it a few times, letting out a big sigh.

Dolph

Let Stephanie handle it, Cody. You've got enough to worry about with Triple H gunning for your title.

Rhodes won't have any of it, he begins to pace back and forth, running his hands through his hair.

Cody

No, no this is personal. I've got to handle this on my own. If Drew wants to start something with me, then he'll get something in return. Triple H is no matter. . . He's just a thorn in my side. Once I beat him at No Mercy and show the world just how useless he is, he'll fade into obscurity once again. You know what. . . Triple H is in the Money in the Bank match. . . Yeah, I think I've got it Dolph!

Dolph looks up once more and shrugs.

Dolph

Well, good luck, don't get yourself hurt. I've got a match, so. . . I'll catch you later.

The two share a nod before Brock exits the room. The camera turns and falls on Cody rubbing his chin, thinking about his plan.

-The main event-

King: And here comes the returning, Drew McIntyre! Oh boy, I'm nearly foaming from the mouth! Brodus Clay, RVD, The Miz, Stone Cold, Drew McIntyre and. . .

The lights dim as the five superstars in the ring await the arrival of their final opponent. They share glances and stares, tension builds between them, but before anything can happen, The Game's theme hits the PA system.

The fans are on their feet as Triple H bursts out onto the stage, carrying his signature water bottle in one hand and a towel in the other. All of the superstars in the ring watch as he makes his way down the ramp, but he doesn't make it far before out from the back comes The United States Champion, Cody Rhodes! He rushes down the ramp and blasts Hunter in the back with a mighty blow. The Game falls hard to the steel ramp, his head smacking into it. Brodus Clay raises his eyebrows while RVD and The Miz watch in awe. Cody lifts Triple H's head up and smashes it down onto the steel, the crowd gasps as it makes a loud thudding sound. Red is seen as Hunter tries to crawl away, but he can't, as Cody repeatedly kicks him in the stomach. Stone Cold moves over to the ropes and points to Cody, but he doesn't leave the ring. He want's to help his friend in need, but doesn't want to risk his opportunity to compete in the Money in the Bank match. Cody continues his assault by picking up Hunter's dropped water bottle. He twists off the top and pours the water all over Hunter's head before throwing it at him. He then takes a small step back, and without thinking, unleashes a deadly kick straight to the jaw of The Game. Hunter lays defeated, blood dripping from his lip. Drew let's a small smile be shown as he leans against the back ropes. The fans are throwing a fit as Rhodes removes his jacket and points to the ring, nodding at the five men inside of it. He proceeds to move toward the ring, ignoring the screaming fans and focusing solely on his former friend and ally, Drew McIntyre.

Great promo... But why am I smiling at HHH getting his ass beat?
