A very black and white explanation

I'm here with a familiar face to the WCF universe, the Perfect one, Curt Hennig.



Hennig eyes Striker coldly as he continues.

Striker
Curt, if I may call you that, the fans have been buzzing over the past week about your return. What can you tell us about your goals for th-


Hennig cuts Striker off by covering his mouth with his right hand.

Hennig
Be quiet, Striker. Listen for a minute and you might just get your answers. I've been in this business for a long time and i've accomplished a lot of things. Everything i've ever set out to achieve, i've achieved.
However, there comes a point when being perfect simply becomes boring. I know nobody else would know what that's like. But I've never stopped paying attention to whats been going on around this place, and as I sat watching from the sidelines of a company i'd already conquered, I began to get sick and tired of seeing so many wannabes and also-rans stomping around acting like they own the place I helped build.

A smattering of cheers and boos emanate from the audience.

Hennig
Listen to me when I say its not ego that makes me believe I'm the best wrestler alive today. When I walked away-

Striker then cuts off Hennig

Striker
Why did you walk away?

Hennig
Listen to me, you insignificant toadie. I'm not going to warn you again. Just stand there, hold your little mic and shut your mouth while I'm talking. Cut me off again, and you'll regret it.

Striker whimpers a little bit and allows Hennig to continue.

Hennig
As I was saying. When I walked away from WCF I felt like I had nothing left to prove to anybody else and much less to myself. You might say when I got to the top of the mountain I wasn’t as taken aback by the view as I thought I would be. But the view from the outside looking in is far, far worse than what I walked away from. To make this short and sweet, Striker,

Hennig holds up his briefcase.

Hennig
I'm back here in the WCF to reclaim what I never lost in the first place. And I'm sure the monkeys pulling the strings at head office will say I have to climb the ladder all over again, but thats a challenge I'm more than willing to undertake. Is that black and white enough for you, Striker?

Matt Striker is visibly relieved to be finished his interview without any harm.

If I didn't have something in the works, I totally would have either done some sort of alliance with you or even a feud with nWo Big Show. Good luck to you though, really loving how you're using the old WCF facts.

Very well written dude, glad to see so many new guys that can write good promos. If I was still Shawn Michaels I would have loved to jump into a story with you as I had some unfinished business with Mr Perfect and I can tell you would definitely do it justice! Hope to see you involved in some interesting stories soon!
