Dashing's Weekly Report! #2
Hello all, and welcome to Dashing's Weekly Report! Your #1 source for all things WCF! Hottest feuds!? You got it! Great matches? You'll hear about it here! Rumors being passed around backstage!? I've got the scoop!
Dashing's hottest feud!
The hottest feud of the week has to go to Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Cody Rhodes. Their rivalry was taken to new lengths this past Monday night, when after a hard fought victory in the main event, Stone Cold was assaulted by both Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler. The attack was halted however, when CM Punk, one of Stone Cold's People Power allies, came charging down the ramp, clearing the ring of The Corporation foot soldiers. These two have been butting heads for weeks, attacks, heated words, nasty interviews, you name it! Not only are the both of them fighting for their respective groups (The Corporation and People Power) but they're also fighting for the prized United States Championship. And in Stone Cold's eyes, he's the better man to win, stating this past Thursday that, "You're not that good if you can't beat the best, Cody, I am the best, I'll prove that at Survivor Series." We'll see if those words hold meaning in just one weeks time, when Stone Cold Steve Austin and Cody Rhodes face off for the United States Championship at WCF'S Survivor Series!
Superstar of the week!
When searching for a superstar of the week, I don't only look for a clean win record (although that helps) I look for that one superstar that shined among the other. I look for the superstar who shows me that he's got what it takes to make it big. I look for a superstar who means what he says and says what he means, and that's why this week's superstar of the week, is none other than Curt Hennig! The former Mr. Money in the Bank (or current if you ask him) made his much anticipated return to the squared circle just two weeks ago. Yet he's already pushed his way back to the top, knocking off the likes of The Miz and Ted DiBiase. He was also announced to be a part of John Laurinaitis' team at Survivor Series! With his new found personality and aggression, it'll be interesting to see if he can work alongside his teammates to take down Stephanie McMahon's crack team of superstars at next weeks pay-per-view. Nevertheless, Mr. Perfect is looking to make it big this time around, and from what I've seen in recent weeks, he may do just that!
Promo mania!
This week played host to many shocking moments. Whether it was CM Punk rescuing Stone Cold Steve Austin from sure demise, Big Show dropping a pipe bomb on Daniel Bryan or John Laurinaitis revealing to us his Survivor Series team. But perhaps the most shocking of all was Mr. T's vicious attack on Chris Jericho after his match with Big E Langston. Yes, I said Mr. T. In recent weeks Big E has been hanging around the man who "pity's the fool!" The two have had their fun targeting Chris Jericho, a legend in the WCF who only just returned after being absent for several months. Jericho would try to make things even this past Monday night, publicly poking fun at Mr. T and Big E alike after his pinfall victory over the self proclaimed BIGGEST name in WCF. This didn't sit well with the two however, and they took things to a new level, bashing Jericho with a steel chair. They then went on to issue a rematch, confident that he wouldn't walk out with the victory. Now I don't if Jericho is brave, or just plain dumb. But my sources are telling us that he has accepted the rematch and it will take place on next weeks Monday night Raw. Will Chris become a victim of Big E and Mr. T again, or does Y2J have something up his sleeve?
Backstage rumors!
Someone heard from a little birdie that the Survivor Series match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Cody Rhodes will be contested under street fight rules! If this is true then expect there to be some blood shed as both of these men are looking to rip each others heads off! Rumor has it that John Bradshaw Layfield has signed a contract with WCF and that he'll be making his debut after Survivor Series! Whether this is true or not I can't say for certain, but listen for that Infamous slot ring, just in case!
