Nova Championship Wrestling

Roster Updated. Come January I'll post written results for Nova Blast and film the PPV Events. NCW is coming to Melbourne Australia for "Hell from Down Under" in late January. Date and card yet to be determined.

Also, all titles will be vacated and up for grabs after season 1 wraps up. That said, if you got any ideas for tag teams just let me know.  

Nearly ready now for this season to start! I'll try to get written results up every Wednesday and we'll have monthly "Free-Per-Events" that will be filmed. Triple Threat Tables Match
Pat Fisher def. Blitzcrank and Ugly Fat Fuck

Blizcrank starts the match off by viciously hammering Pat Fisher with bare fists. Ugly Fat Fuck seemed to take exception to this and briefly allied with Pat. They double teamed the huge german, slugging him out with “The Lunch Rush” while Pat barely held the behemoth in place from behind. The alliance was short lived however with Ugly Fat Fuck suddenly switch sides and punishing Pat with a tremendous double chokeslam with Blitzcrank!

While Ugly Fat Fuck scored a reversal and hit a side Russian leg sweep, Blitzcrank set up a table in the ring corner. Ugly Fat Fuck and Blitzcrank continued the double team on Pat, crushing him with a wicked double powerbomb! Ugly Fat Fuck seem to have Pat beaten after a hitting a big splash off the ropes, but Blitzcrank suddenly attacked the mastodon. Fat Fuck quickly broke the germans momentum and hit a powerbomb before going to ring side for a second table.

Pat recovered and tried to put Blitzcrank away but setting him up on top of the table and climbing to the top turnbuckle. Pat leaps at his foe, but Blitzcrank rolls out’ve the way and Pat crashes through the table! Blitzcrank and Ugly fat Fuck renew their war while Pat set up yet another table. For a brief moment, both Pat and Blitzcrack double teamed Fat Fuck. This was short lived however when Pat tombstoned Blitzcrank on the table that was knocked down during the brawl.

Fat Fuck soon set the table back up in the ring corner just in time to see Pat hit a weakened Blitzcrank with a Stunner and irish whip him into the tabled corner. As Blitzcrack lies with his chest against the table and his back exposed, Pat suddenly dashed across the ring and delivers a bonecrushing spear, diving Blitzcrank through the table and winning the match.

Universal Championship Tournament First Round Matches
Rabid Grid def. Crazumi

Crazumi came out swinging, showing absolutely no fear of his much larger opponent. He started match off with good momentum, hurting the former champion with a series of punches, elbow drops, and a knee breaker. Grid responded with a hard irish whip into the corner but just leered at the prone Crazumi. Perhaps not seeing the deranged man as much of a threat. His over confidence was rewarded with a double arm DDT and two count. Grid suddenly realized just how determined Crazumi was by following this move up with a Brainbuster for a near fall.

Rabid Grid became enraged and was trying to comeback, Crazumi tried to stop this by putting Grid into a double armbar submission, but to no avail. Grid broke free and levels him with a series of clotheslines and a powerslam. Then he follows this up with a Dreamstreet slam for a two count. Grid signals for a super punch and scores big, hitting Crazumi in the face in spite of the white hockey mask he wore. Grid covers for a nearfall. Crazumi tried to comeback, but Rabid Grid kept him grounded with clotheslines and vicious ground pounds. Eventually Grid put his opponent away for good after destroying him with a triple powerbomb!

Alvuess def. Xander Slate

Xander started the match off by dominating his foe. After a punch combination, he hurt Alvuess with a neckbreaker and a t-bone suplex. Alvuess responded with a series of stiff kicks in the corner and targeting Xanders legs and back. He soon hit Xander with a suplex/neckbreaker combination and went for the pin, but Xander easily kicked out. After enduring more punishment to his back and knees, Xander started to reverse the momentum and nearly scored a win after a Curtain Call. Alvuess was soon getting a taste of his own medicine as Xander targeted his legs and put him in a figure four leglock followed up with a flip over neckwhip. Alvuess rebounded, trapping Xander in a crippler crossface but he managed to reach the ropes. After punishing Xander with a neck breaker, Alvuess treid to make him submit in a camel clutch, but again he manages to work his way to the ropes. Finally, Alvuess put Xanders title hopes on pause after hitting him with a cradle DDT for the win.

Paul Anderson def. Shohei

This match began with high paced action back and forth. Paul Anderson pummeled Shohei with fists and dropkicks. Shohei whipped Paul into a corner a hit a tornado DDT. Paul came back up to hit him with a fisherman suplex and climbed the top turnbuckle. Shohei proved to be too fast and quickly threw his opponent off the top rope to the canvas. Anderson recovered and hit a cross body of the top rope, followed by dropkicks and a 450 splash. After keeping Shohei grounded with an armbar and batista bite submission, Anderson nearly got the win after a high angle side belly to belly suplex. Shohei tried to turn the match around with chops and a judo throw only for Anderson to sudden put him away with a brogue kick.

Pierre Thompson def. Frank the Clown

Frank the clown quickly floored Pierre with a clothesline followed by a side belly to belly suplex and a neckbreaker. Pierre rebounds with a neckbreaker of his own and a series of leg and elbow drops to Franks face. This seemed to anger the clown who came back with a spinning back suplex, mounted punches, and spinebuster. Frank tried to steal the win by putting his feet on the ropes during a pinfall, but Pierre managed to kick out. Frank was overwhelmed with a quick punch combination and downed with a clothesline. Pierre bounces of the ropes and flattens the clown with a senton for a two count. Frank soon dropped Pierre with a dancing punch combo of his own and covered him for a nearfall. Frank next locked in a single legged crab trying to get a submission victory, but Pierre broke free and hit a sky-high sitout powerbomb for the three count.

Wormhole Championship Match
Queen Susanna def. Link Fisher and Jade Green

Link and Jade started this match for a vacant Wormhole championship as allies. They quickly took the fight to the smug self proclaimed “Queen of Wrestling” with a double DDT and Suplex. Jade even held Sue while Link slapped her cleavage with knife edge chops! It soon became clear however, that any alliance was going to be a brief one and all three competitors wanted to be the champion. Jade soon turned on Link and was helping Susanna pummel the “underdog” of womens division. Loving a good fight, Link bravely fought off both competitors, but was soon overwhelmed and fell to ringside after Sue hit a stunner as Link lay prone against the ropes from the outside. Jade surprised Sue with a shining wizard and appeared to have the match won. Link suddenly slid into the ring a covered Sue in a bold attempt to steal the pinfall. Jade just barely managed to pull her off before the referee counted three.

Link hit an attitude adjustment on Sue shortly thereafter and Jade tried to steal the win herself and covers Sue, but Link broke up the pinfall. Jade and Link then took turns beating on Sue before the underdog suddenly hit Jade with the stunner. Link went for the cover but Sue was there to break up the fall. Jade soon hit a devastating side suplex from the top turnbuckle onto Sue and once again hit the shinning wizard only for Link to stop the count. Jade and Link took turns beating on Sue again before Link surprised her “ally” with another stunner and Susanna using the break in the action hit her powerbomb on Jade as well! Link was there to break up both the pinfall attempt and bearhug that Sue clamped on Jade.

After nailing Jade with a brutal powerbomb against the turnbuckles, Susanna locked in a masterlock on Link. With Jade knocked out and nowhere to go, Link was forced to submit. After the match, Sue added more insult to her old rival by kicking her repeatedly when she was still down and vulnerable. Your winner and new Wormhole Champion, Queen Susanna!

Results are here. Mostly squash matches this week sadly. However Grid vs Pierre was amazing and the TLC match was brutal!

Tarja def. Jade Green

The first match up of the evening had Jade surprise Tarja early with a spinning kick. “The Wolf” quickly recovered and trapped her opponent in a corner and relentlessly punched and kicked her, obviously eager to win her debut match in NCW. Jade rebounded with a standing dropkick, facebusters and a flipping splash while Tarja was stunned in a corner. The much larger Tarja responded with a huge facebuster of her own and clamped on a camel clutch, but Jade reached the ropes.

Tarja soon assumed full control on the match, surprising Jade with her agility, hitting a headscissors, backpack stunner, and finishing her off with a Razor’s Edge for the win.

Universal Championship Tournament Semi-final Match
Rabid Grid def. Alvuess

Alvuess hurt Grid early with a dropkick to the knee and a german suplex, showcasing his power over the larger man. Grid didn’t approve of this and responded with flurry of punches and crushing headbutt that floored his challenger. Grid soon assumed control of the match, trapping Alvuess in a corner and clotheslining him. He followed this up with not one, but two german suplexs to return the favor to Alvuess.
Alvuess makes a comeback with clotheslines, facebuster, and cradle DDT for a nearfall. Grid soon found himself in a crippler crossface but manages to fight out. Alvuess nailed him with a fall forward suplex. Grid became angry and caught Alvuess with a belly to belly suplex and punished his foe with four powerbombs! But Alvuess kicked out at the last second, denying Grid an upset victory.  The action soon spilled to ringside, where Alvuess got his second wind and landed a vicious series of kicks, chop block, and a running flatline DDT. Rabid Grid narrowly avoids defeat when he came to and re-entered the ring on a count of 6.

Grid tossed Alvuess out of the ring and applied more pain with a release german suplex and a worlds strongest slam outside. Then back in the ring, he tried to put Alvuess away with a high impact chest slam for another nearfall. Despite his resiliency, Alvuess could not overcome Grid’s momentum and was finally put away with a Dreamstreet Slam.

Universal Championship Tournament Semi-final Match
Pierre Thompson def. Paul Anderson

Pierre took control of the match early with a clothesline, side Russian leg sweep, and an electric chair drop. Paul took even more punishment, enduring an armbreaker, punch combos, and an oklohoma slam. Pierre kept the hurt on, with an elbow drop combo, backpack stunner, and a meathook clothesline for a two count.
Paul finally got some offense in with kick combos, Inzuguri, and back suplex. Pierre quickly recovered, delivering a vertical suplex followed by a skyhigh powerbomb for the victory.

Hardcore Match
Raging Rick def. Seth Payne

In this unusual contest, Seth Payne found himself facing the owner of NCW in an Extreme Rules Match. Rick charged at the opening bell, nailing Seth with a spinning neckbreaker and knee breaker before shoving him into the corner to drive Seth face first into the second turnbuckle.  The action soon was outside the ring and Rick looked for a weapon under the apron. Seth put a stop to that with a running clothsline and spinning dropkick.

Raging Rick soon regained control however with a facebuster and fisherman suplex on the arena floor. Seth was nearly pinned shortly thereafter when Rick chokeslammed him at ringside but kicked out before the count of three. Seth reversed and irish whip and sent Rick into the ring side barricade. Seth then looked for a weapon of his own under the ring but found nothing. Raging Rick soon closed in and Seth ran from his opponent and a comical game of cat a mouse ensued. Rick soon caught him however and ended the match on the ramp with a spinning Razor’s Edge.

Link Fisher def.  Valderiss

Link was attacked by the champion Queen Susanna as she made her way down the ramp, slamming her face first into the steel steps. The skull masked woman known only as Valderiss wasted no time once Sue tossed her into the ring and match officially started. She attacked Link with a reverse DDT, back suplex, and inzuguri. Then she went after Link’s legs, hoping to keep her grounded. Link manages to get to her feet and hammers Valderiss with kicks in the corner and drove her into the ring with a crushing Rock Bottom. “Vamps” easily kicked out. Link then bounced off the ropes and surprised Valderiss with a lou thez press and running leg drop for another quick kickout
Link continued to put pressure on Valderiss, smashing her face into the canvas and then leaping off the rope to take down Vamps with a spectacular cross body block. Link nearly got the pinfall with an Attitude Adjustment but to no avail. She followed this up with a Stunner that Vamps once again stubbornly kicked out of. Link floored her resilient opponent with a headbutt and finished her off with a running legdrop. After her hand was raised in victory, Link went to check on her competition, who in return gave her a low blow. Valderiss gloated over her fallen rival as Link doubled over in pain.

Fatal Four Way TLC Blackhole Championship Match
Crazumi vs Xander Slate vs Shohei vs Frank the Clown

The former competitors of the Universal Championship Tournament were given a second chance to compete for NCW’s hardcore title equivalent. All four men ruthlessly tore at each other until Crazumi finally got a ladder from ringside, tossed it into the ring, and began his climb towards the gold. He didn’t get too far however, as Frank the Clown pushed the ladder down and sent Crazumi crashing down to the mat. When Frank took after the vulnerable Crazumi, Shohei unexpectedly took the ladder and drove it into in the Clown’s back!

Xander Slate soon made his malice known by hooking Shohei’s leg in a drop toe hold, tripping the masked wrester into the steel rungs of the ladder. Seeing this, Crazumi also used the ladder by grabbing Frank and driving his head into the ladder with a bulldog headlock! Soon, Frank joined in of the fun by bodyslamming Shohei on a downed ladder and using a running power slam to drive Xander in to a standing ladder. Xander was soon busted open after taking a Dudley Dog from Shohei. He then climbed the ladder and grabbed the belt, but then the ladder was knocked out from under him and he found himself hanging on to the Blackhole Championship for dear life! Crazumi “helped” Shohei down with an electric chair drop.

Soon the four tough competitors were nailing each other with their own finishing maneuvers. With Xander knocked out and Crazumi busy trying to bloody Shohei, Frank used the opportunity to scale the ladder and pull down the championship to the shock a dismay of his opponents. Your winner and new Blackhole Champion! Frank the Clown!

Ryan Colt def.  Austin Prince

Ryan started the match off with a punch combo that only dazed his opponent. Austin shook the cobwebs out and responded with a side belly to belly suplex, knee breaker, and samoan drop. Ryan took Austin down with a running big boot in the corner and a cross body block and dropkick off the ropes. Austin soon had one thing on his mind…payback! When the action spilled to ringside and after absorbing a back suplex on the padding, Austin turned the match around with vicious punch and kick combos, tossed Ryan into the ring and hit a running big boot in the corner as well. Austin was quick to follow this up and show of his strength by grabbing the small man by the legs and giving him a big spin!

Austin began to dominate his opponent, scoring with a gutwrench suplex, two sitout powerbombs, and a High Cross for a two count. Austin was quick to nail Ryan with a stunner for another nearfall. Frustrated, he beat Ryan unmercifully with an overhead belly to belly, angle slam, and stomping on his chest.  Austin then applied a cobra clutch only for Ryan to break free of the submission hold. Ryan rebounded, hitting an amazing springboard clothesline and nearly winning the match with a cradle DDT! Ryan Colt then punished Austin Prince with a torture rack and driving his head into a mat with a piledriver for the victory.

Tornado Tag Team Match
Shohei Ito and Seth Payne def.  Alveuss and Paul Anderson

This match began at a high pace, Seth and Shohei both taking down their opponents at the same time, Shohei hitting Anderson with a running DDT and Seth taking Alvuess down with a hurricarana. When Seth hammered Alveuss in a corner, Anderson and Shohei brawled outside, a battle that Anderson won. He then rolled the masked superstar into the ring, climbed the ropes, and nearly pinned his opponent with a cross body block.

Anderson seriously wanted to hurt Shohei by taking him to ring side, where he laid him on the ringside commentary desk, running back into the ring, only dive off the top rope and drive Shohei through the table! Seth meanwhile keep Alveuss busy, his larger opponent apparently unable to cope with Seth’s speed and offense. Shohei somehow managed to recover and headed back into the ring, just as Anderson was about to double team Seth with his partner. Shohei leveled Anderson with a kick combo, spinning heel kick, tornado DDT, and pinning Anderson with a double underhook driver for the win!

Blackhole #1 Contender Match
Pat Fisher def. Raging Rick

This match up saw the Owner of NCW going up against the father of his girlfriend Link Fisher for a shot at the Blackhole Championship. Pat took it to the boss quickly with a punch combo and a hiptoss. After downing Lewis with an x-factor, he went under the ring and found a baseball bat. Obviously, Pat was willing to do whatever it took to win a title shot against Frank the Clown, and hammered his daughter’s lover with repeated hits with the bat!

Rage fought back with bare fists, but was out punched by Pat. Lewis was soon on the receiving end of a tombstone piledriver at ringside but somehow kicked out before the count of three. Pat then leveled Lewis with a stunner, but still Raging Rick would not stay down. Lewis recovered and keep Pat grounded with a spinning back elbow and a dropkick. He then grabbed the steel steps nearby and brutalized Pat with them, showing that he too desired to win by any means.

Pat managed to save himself and the match by charging into Lewis while he held the steps high for another blow. He speared the boss and the steel steps came down painfully on Lewis’ head. Pat then rolled up him into a small package for the win and the title shot.

Wormhole #1 Contender Match
Tarjia with Queen Susanna def. Link Fisher

Tarjia dominated Link early as “The Dog” charged “The Wolf” only to get powerslammed. Tarjia never let up at that point, slamming the fight out’ve Link with high impact power moves such as Spinebuster, T-bone suplex, and Full Nelson Slam. Queen Susanna mocked Link by laughing at ringside, very pleased at seeing such a one sided beat down of her would be challenger. After eating a facebuster, Tarjia bounced off the ropes to deliver a splash on Link’s exposed back and nearly won the match with a Razors Edge.

Link stubbornly kicked out. After getting hit with a stunner, Link attempted to comeback and nailed a RKO from out’ve nowhere. She covered Tarjia, be she easily kicked out. Link then hit a stunner of her own, followed by a Lou Thez Press and splash off the ropes much to the displeasure of Sue at ringside. After trapping the larger woman in a corner and hurting her with a double foot stomp off the top turnbuckle and hitting a leg drop off the ropes, Sue interfered. She was hell bent on preventing her longtime rival from earning a title shot against her.

Link seemed to have Tarjia beat with a back suplex and yet another leg drop, but Sue once again prevented the ref from making a three count. Finally, the official had enough of Wormhole Champs interference and ejected her. Link floors Tarjia with a second RKO for nearfall. She stayed on top of her opponent and hit another stunner, but Tarjia still had the energy to kick out.  Tarjia manage to reverse an irish whip, sending Link hard into the corner chest first and dropped her with a huge german suplex that sent Link to the other side of the ring! She clamped on a camel clutch but Link refused to submit. Tarjia caught Link off the ropes with a twilt a whirl backbreaker and followed this up with a senton and Razors Edge to secure the victory and title shot.

Tornado Tag Team Match
Xander Slate and Blitzcrank def. Tehrror and Turok

Newcomers Tehrror and Turok together known as the “Foresworn” were eager to prove themselves in the ring, but the team of Xander and Blitzcrank were just as hungry for a win. Turok took after Xander while the two big men excited the crowd as they exchanged power moves. Chant of “This is awesome” could plainly be heard as they stole the show, threatening to bring a very ring around them!

They soon traded opponents however, Blitzcrank delighting in hurting the much smaller of the Foresworn, while Xander attempted to slow down the massive Tehrror by applying a figure four around the ring post. Tehrror became enraged, clotheslining Xander and delivering him face first into the top turnbuckle with snake eyes. He then hit a massive uppercut and covered Xander for a nearfall. Xander recovered and pinned Tehrror with a Curtain Call bringing an exciting match to an abrupt end.

Universal Championship Match
Pierre Thompson vs Rabid Grid

Pierre built his momentum early on with a side Russian leg sweep and spectacular clothesline that had the larger Grid flip in the air! Grid was grounded by Pierre’s heavy arsenal of moves, but he finally broke free of the assault and weakened his challenger with triple back suplex. Pierre was quick to re-assert his dominance, focusing on Grid’s head and neck. After gaining a nearfall on Grid with a running senton, Grid made a comeback and nearly won with a Dreamstreet. Pierre too made his own comeback and gained a nearfall after a meathook clothesline.

Pierre kept the pressure on Grid, whipping him into the ropes, catapulting him up to connect with a forearm for another nearfall. After hitting another running senton, Pierre locked Grid into a rear chinlock. The strategy of focusing on the neck of his opponent soon paid off, as Rabid Grid, to the shock of all, tapped out to the hold! Your winner and new Universal Champion, Pierre Thompson!

Our first Free-Per-View event of the new year comes sometime next week. This will be filmed on a video capture card (thanks Akiman!) and possibly even livestreamed!

All championships will be up for grabs and new Twin Suns Champions will be decided. Seth's partner was injured this week with broken ribs and may not make it to the event! So will Seth get a new tag team partner? Or will he have to go at it alone! Tune in to find out!

Rabid Grid gets another shot at the New Universal Champion in a searing Inferno Match! Can newcomer Pierre overcome the brute power and determination of the former two time Dark Energy Champion?
