The bell rings. The referee holds up Ziggler's hand in victory. Punk, defeated, rolls out of the ring and walks, with the WCF Championship belt over his shoulder, up the ramp and out of the arena. Ziggler watches him go. It is the RAW after Survivor Series, the night when Dolph Ziggler gave everything he had to win the belt, but came up short.
King: Well, Dolph has beaten CM Punk tonight Cole, but this has got to feel like bittersweet victory.
Cole: You're right King, I can't imagine that Ziggler is feeling in a celebratory mood tonight even with the big win over Punk. In fact, I'd say he looks downright miserable.
Dolph stands in the ring, gazing out at the WCF universe. They boo him and taunt him. He walks over to the ropes and calls for a mic. He catches the mic and begins speaking.
Dolph: Yeah, yeah, yeah, boo me. Taunt me. Hell, I deserve it all.
Ziggler leans against the ropes looking like a defeated man.
I've been coming out here for a long time. Coming out here, stealing the show, making women faint, embarrassing my opponents week after week. But last night, CM Punk embarrassed me. I've spent my entire life working for that moment, working for the night when I would get to hold that golden trophy over my head and be able to call myself the greatest man in the business. While I've been here, I've had multiple opportunities to do just that. I couldn't beat the Road Dogg in a 3-1 handicap match. I couldn't beat Christopher Daniels in the match that mattered. And last night, when I thought I had the world in the palm of my hand, I underestimated CM Punk, and he stole my dream right out from under my nose. Do I respect Punk? No, of course not. He won and he's the champ, but that doesn't mean it was the right result. I should be WCF champion at the moment, but I'm not, and after getting to the mountain top three times and being knocked back down each time, I've got to look at myself and ask, can I even do it? Can I ever become WCF champion? Or, am I destined to be runner-up time and time again. The second-place Show Off, the Almost Rising Son? I don't want that. I don't want to keep failing, and after this year, after giving every ounce of energy and strength I have in pursuit of that dream, I just don't think I have any more to give. And so, even though my victory tonight over CM Punk, makes me the obvious choice for number one contender, and, let's be honest, pay per view sales have tripled this year because of yours truly, I am taking this opportunity to announce a leave of absence from the WCF.
The crowd, which had been booing Dolph, is stunned into silence. Dolph looks around at the crowd.
I want to thank the WCF brass for giving me this opportunity. I want to thank all the people who supported me over the last couple of years, but most importantly, I want to thank you, the WCF Universe, for making what we do not only possible, but also a pleasure. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the amazing memories we have made in this ring. I'm Dolph Ziggler, and The Show is Off.
Dolph drops the mic and begins to make this way out of the ring. The crowd begins to applaud Dolph, and chants "Ziggler, Ziggler, Ziggler".

As Dolph is putting his leg through the middle rope, the fans are sent back into a frenzy of boos. The Show Off backs up a small bit, taking a deep breath as his former friend and arch rival, Cody Rhodes, makes his way out onto the stage. Rhodes peers down at Dolph, a blank expression on his face. As the fans continue to boo and taunt Cody, chanting, "where's your mustache!?", the United States Champion brings his mic up to his freshly shaven lips.
Cody
Ugh . . . Wow. So this is it? This is the end of the great, Dolph Ziggler? I ugh . . . I can't accept that. Dolph, you and I have had our difference, sure. Whether it was over championships, women, rubix cubes or even RISE. We've fought each other more times than I can count. And I can easily say, without a doubt in my mind, that you've been one of my best opponents. In this business, on the mic and in that ring. To see you throw your hat in and say that you're quitting is painful for me to see, honestly. How can you give up just like that? Sure, you've lost some matches, you've let the championship slip away from you time and time again, but so have I! I've also been in three World Championship matches, Dolph, and I lost every single one of them. For two of them I was side by side with you, fighting tooth and nail to hold that title in my hands. I've been with you from the start, Dolph, and I'll be damned if not here with you at the end. So that's why I'm offering you . . . One last match. You and I, one more time, at Final Resolution. Dolph, I'm not the one who needs this match, you need this match. You need to be The Show Off, just one last time. You need to steal the show, just one last time. You need to make all of the women in the arena faint, just one, last, time. Dolph, you need to fight me, just one . . . Last . . . Time.
Cody lowers his mic as he begins to walk down the ramp. The fans have now stopped booing, some even cheering for the United States Champion as nears the ring. Dolph is breathing heavily, he watches as Rhodes climbs up the steel steps, ducking under the second rope and entering the ring. The two now stand just feet apart. Cody nods his head as he raises his mic once more.
Cody
Dolph, I'm not asking you to have this match with me as a friend. I'm not asking you to have this match with me as an enemy. I'm asking you to have this match with me as a competitor. I can't sit back and watch you leave on a note like that. One more match, Dolph. One more chance to prove to the world that you've got what it takes. One more chance to prove to all of these people, and everyone in the back, that you're not a phony. One more chance to leave the WCF, as a legend, rather than the guy who just couldn't get it done. One more chance, Dolph. A chance, that you're just going to have to take.
Cody looks at Ziggler and cracks a small smile, moving closer to him. He then holds out his hand, awaiting Dolph's confirmation.
Cody
What do you say, Dolph? Are we doing this, or what?
Cody watches as Dolph moves closer and closer to him, caution in each one of his steps. There's a few seconds of absolute silence before Ziggler extends his hand, forming it with Cody's to create a pact. Smiles emerge on the faces of both superstars as the fans go nuts. One more match between Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes will take place at Final Resolution. Dolph Ziggler's last match. As Cody goes to take his hand away however, he's held onto by a forceful, Dolph Ziggler. Rhodes lets out a small, almost unheard sigh as he knows what's going to happen next. In an instant, Dolph snaps back and unleashes a bone shattering superkick right onto Cody's chin. The United States Champion falls like a stone onto his back, smacking the canvas with all of his weight. The uproar of the audience is unheard by Dolph, who is simply standing over Cody's motionless body, staring at him with vicious intent. Ziggler begins to breath heavily again as he exits the ring in search of a weapon. He looks all over ringside, tossing different chairs around, yelling at the camera crew to get out of his way. He then takes his search underneath the ring, and after just a few moments, he reemerges with a baseball bat firmly in his hands. He stares at the bat, a sick and twisted smile overtaking his face. Dolph then makes his way back into the ring, where he once again hovers over Cody's body, his bat pressed against Rhodes' skull. Ziggler then takes a deep breath, sweat and spit flying every which way as he screams at the top of his lungs, "SHOW OFF!" His arms then stretch behind him as he cocks the bat over his head. He holds that pose for a long while, Cody beginning to stir around on the mat. Finally he shouts out, raising the bat up into the air. But just as he is about to connect the bat with Cody's skull . . .

Jim Ross What a disgusting reaction from Dolph Ziggler. I for one will be glad to see the back of him, he's about to end Cody Rhodes' career!
Jerry Lawler That can only be a good thing, J.R. No more arrogant daddy's little boy on RAW, I can't say It's going to bother me too much.
Jim Ross This isn't a lauging matter king, there's a life at steak here!
Just as Ziggler is about to swing the basbeall bat down against Cody's skull with a full force smack, the crowd burst into a frenzy of ecstatic cheers as someone slips into the ring and reaches out over Ziggler, grabbing the baseball bat from his grasp. Ziggler is left standing over Cody Rhodes with a confused look across his face, he doesn't have a clue who could have the sheer audacity to steal the weapon from his hands, but his confusion soon turns into anger, he lashes out and turns around, but is quickly stopped in his tracks as he recognizes the man...
Jim Ross BAH GAWD KING!!! That's Kazarian! It's Kazarain! Kazarian has come to the WCF!
Dolph is in absolute shock, having not seen Kazarian since the final night of WCW, he stands frozen on the spot as the crowds excitement continues to grow. Dolph's expression tells the story, he stares bewilderedly, not moving a muscle. A smile creeps across Kazarian's face as he says something to Ziggler.
Kazarian Miss me?
It only takes those two words to wind Ziggler up enough to attempt an attack, he lashes out again, but Kazarian ducks, leaving Dolph slightly staggered from the miss, not missing a beat, Kazarian swings the bat back and with a quick forceful strike, he swings it forward and a sickening sound comes over the arena as the metal makes impact with Dolph Ziggler's ribs. Ziggler hunches over, having just had the wind knocked out of him, but Kazarian doesn't give him a chance to catch his breath as he connects with another vicious strike against his back, sending Ziggler down to the canvas. The crowd are eating it up as Ziggler falls victim to his own dirty tactics. He drags himself to the ropes, trying to escape the ring, but Kazarian is quick on the attack as he forces Ziggler into the corner.
Kazarian continues to stomp down on Ziggler's already injured ribs before stepping away, Ziggler takes the break to catch his breath, but it proves to be a mistake as Kazarian launches himself towards him with a low dropkick that knocks him out of the ring and down to the floor. Kazarain yells out and the smile returns to his face as the crowd cheer him on.
Jim Ross Kazarian just left a bad taste in Ziggler's mouth! What a beatdown Dolph just took! It couldn't have happened to be a better man.
Jerry Lawler Talk about bias, J.R. Ziggler didn't even use the bat and you were calling him every name under the sun, but as soon as this vigilante decides to make use out of it you're eating it up... That was nothing but an assault, a completely unprovoked assault.
Kazarian soaks up the crowds positive reaction and slowly backs his way into the middle of the ring, only to back right into the standing Cody Rhodes. The two men jump forward and turn around to face each other. The tension in the arena is clear as the two stare off, bitter rivals in the past, they both look to the outside of the ring, where Ziggler is still lying, beaten and bruised. Almost in unison, they return to look at each other and extend out their arms, shaking hands as the crowd goes wild. Cody grabs Kazarian's arm and raises it up into the air as his entrance music hits.
Jim Ross What a show of respect from these two. After everything they've been through in their time in WCW, they can shake hands and put it all behind them hear tonight.
Jerry Lawler A show of respect?... This is anything but respectful. Does no one care that Dolph Ziggler's ribs could be broken? These two men deserve to be punished for what they did her tonight!
Kazarian and Cody continue to celebrate in the ring as the screen fades to black and the show heads to a commercial break.
