| Before Raw's theme song hits to cue up the show, a shot of a dark room with nothing more than a silhouette of a man in a corner is shown on screen. Nothing but the slight buzzing of the camera and the man's whispery voice can be heard Anguish, fear, sorrow... pain... these are things we all feel. But these seem to be things we shove off to the side, never to be looked upon... most of us float along in a rosy existence, trying our best to pull the wool over our eyes like nothing is ever wrong...
And it seems acceptance is a barometer of one's popularity. If one is a misfit... unattractive, unathletic, in some sense unappealing to others... one is in for a lifetime of cruelty and suffering at the behest of others... scars and wounds that will traumatize permanently, and won't heal properly.
The past is never far away... you may try to repress it. You may try holding it back. You can even try to outrun it... but it will always continue to grow stronger and stronger... more and more foreboding. Until it becomes like a malignant tumor that can't be satiated. We all face our pain in different manners.... whether it's three in the morning alone in a dark house, with tears in ones eyes... whether its an ingrained need to destroy everything beautiful, everything cherished... or whether it's simply shutting oneself off from the world to get away from all the pain...
I understand what it's like to do without... You all should understand this... you should give what's needed. I can feel this pain... why can't you understand?
