Going Deeper

Brodus is seen somewhere in the backstage area with his usual angered look across his face. He looks into the camera and begins to speak.



Brodus:
At Final Resolution it's all going to end between me and RVD. We have both been to banged up to even compete on Raw in the past couple months because we had to play it safe so we wouldn't make our injuries worse. But now we come to the final chapter. A match where you gotta beat yo opponents ass until he can't stand up and then you gotta climb up a big ass ladder to get a certain opportunity. When I win this match I get a shot at the United States Championship. I don't give a shit who's holdin it either, Imma go after it and Imma get it. Ya'll can hope all you want that Rob Van Dam will beat me. But once Rob and all of you crash back into reality you'll realize that Brodus Clay is the big bad monster who prevents a happy ending. I'm sending Rob to hell and their ain't nothin ya'll can do about it. You'll just sit there and cry like stray puppies as you watch your owner fall to his death.

There will be no future of Rob Van Dam. He gonna die and ya'll gonna have to deal with it. I'm a strong man and Rob Van Dam signed to this company knowing that at very rare situations, he could die in this ring. And this is one of those rare situations. I ain't scared of nothin so I will end RVD. Ain't no law can hold me down from doing what I should of done a long time ago. He's on his last few working days. Because once he steps into that ring with me and I have access to a 15 foot metal ladder, there ain't no turnin back. I'll smash that damn ladder over his head and then set it up and climb my way to the top.

Brodus backs away from the camera to reveal a woman who is tied to a wheel chair with silver tape on her mouth to prevent her from talking. This woman is none other than RVD's wife.....



Brodus smiles as he kneels down by the woman and begins to speak again as she gives off a terrified look.

Brodus:
Now Rob, you do understand that every thing me and you have went through has given me stronger feelings towards you. You sacrificed something when you decided to torment me week in and week out. It all comes down to this. I have your wife. You've flooded this thing until I had no choice but to go deeper and deeper Rob. I will make a deal with you. If you decide to forfeit the match and stay out of my life forever then I will give you your wife back. But if you don't, then bad things will happen to her. You'll wish you gave love to her last night because that would of been the last time. Now you got till the last hour of the show to give me your decision. You either save your wife and possibly your life by forfeiting the match, or you make another stupid decision that actually isn't drug related this time. It's your choice. For now, me and yo wife are gonna go for a little ride.

[Open for RVD to reply via satellite leave it back open to me]

With 20 minutes left of Raw and right before the Main Event, Brodus Clay returns on the titantron with the scene being set in a random room where RVD is standing in front of Rob's wife who is still tied to the wheelchair.



Brodus:
Time was ticking Rob and you're ego got in the way of your relationship with this woman behind me. You could of did the right thing and saved her. I would of rolled her out in the hallway for you to get her but no, you decided to spew our lies as usual. Saying you've beaten my ass. Who has the broken ribs? Who got power bombed off a fuckin ladder? You did and now you're gonna pay for your bad decision. I warned you. But instead you decided to fuel the monster within me. And everybody knows that a monster finds the pain of others amusing. So I'll be causing pain right now. Physical pain to your wife and emotional pain to you as you watch me break her in a million pieces. And while watching this you'll realize that this was on YOUR hands. You caused this!

Brodus turns to the woman and he then grabs the back of the wheel chair and begins to push it. The camera follows as they reach there destination. They reach a room with concrete floor and concrete walls, but that's not what's interesting about this room. This room is filled with ladders. Special made ladders for ladder type matches. The ladders are stored in this room and there looks to be about 40 ladders scattered all over the place.

Brodus:
Here we are. A room filled with the weapon that I'm going to use to beat you with Rob. I'm going to give you a little glimpse of the future. Tonight is the night when I push your buttons so hard that you will be mentally unstable for our match. This is your breaking point because you pushed me to do this. You got in my head and you drove me to do this. It's your fault that your wife is going to be brutalized. She's being punished for your actions. You are witnessing hell and I'm the cause of it!

Brodus then proceeds to untie her wrists from the chair, but when she tries to run he holds her put and ties her hands together. He then takes her by the hair and pulls her to the nearest pile of ladders and place her in the Brodus Bomb position. At this point, the camera is to the side of Brodus and RVD's wife so that Brodus can turn to it and say a few last words.

Brodus:
Kids what you are about to see is a cause and effect type of situation. You piss me off and push my buttons, I'll power bomb your wife!

With that, Brodus lifts the woman high into the air but out of nowhere, a led pipe hits the leg of Brodus Clay to break up the move. As the girl manages to make some distance between her and Brodus, the camera zooms out to reveal RVD standing there with a led pipe in his hands. He has a new type of look in his eyes. Pure hatred is being shown in his eyes. Brodus tries to stand up but Rob sends the pipe flying into his gut.

Rob:
You want to go too far???

He then drops the pipe and and begins to unload a fury of punches onto Brodus but Brodus manages to get a shot to the gut to buy him some time to find the strength to stand up. As he stands up, Rob attempts to swing again but Brodus stops the attack with a knee to his gut. With that, he sets Rob up for the Brodus Bomb onto the ladders. Then, in an instant, Rob shows his impressive mount of strength by flipping Brodus over his head onto the ladders to cause a few to bend and break as Brodus yells out in pain. Rob isn't done yet though. He brings Brodus back up to his feet and grabs him by the head to send his head crashing into the door frame. This then leads the two men out into the hallway where staff are making there distance from this brutal fight. The fight ends up into the parking lot and Brodus gains the upper hand by low blowing RVD. He then picks up RVD in a Spinebuster like position and rams him into a black car to set the car alarm off. Brodus then turns to Rob's wife who followed the fight down the hall.



Brodus:
You're just as stupid as your husband!

She attempts to run from Brodus but he grabs a hold of her arm. Before he can do anything, Rob Van Dam jumps on his back to apply a choke hold. It doesn't last long though because Brodus sends him back first into the black car. He then begins to unload with right handed punches but, not for long as Rob fights back. Rob then slams Brodus' head into the hood of the car. At this point, two police cars appear on the scene while Rob is still punching Brodus who is now busted open with blood pouring down his face. The police climb out of there vehicles with there guns pointed at the two men. The scene ends with the arrest of Brodus Clay and Rob Van Dam while Rob's wife is escorted home by a few staff members. We go back to the commentators table.

JR:
I...I can't believe what just happened. A brutal fight between Brodus Clay and Rob Van Dam. King, I think this feud is as personal as it can get.

King:
I just want to know if they're gonna be out before Final Resolution!

JR:
I don't know but if they do, it's going to be even brutal than what we just saw.

King:
No doubt, one of these two men will tower over the other this sunday. Now time for our main event!
