RAW returns from commercial to show WCF's newest tag team acquisition, JTG and Shad Gaspard, a.k.a. Cryme Tyme walking down the hallway. JTG is back to his jeans and boots but lacks the bandanna kneepad while Shad is in the traditional gear with a sleeveless suit jacket on. As Shad is talking to JTG, the duo is interrupted by an interviewer.
Renee Young:
Pardon me gentlemen but I was wondering if I could ask a few questions.
Shad stops mid-sentence while JTG stops and lowers his glasses, both men staring at the interviewer.
JTG:
Well, well, well. MMM. Why don't we go back to my place and you can ask ALL the ques. . .
Before JTG finishes, Shad places his hand on his face and pushes him backwards before stepping in his place.
Shad Gaspard:
No problem, Renee is it?
Renee blushes a little bit, surprised anyone actually knows her name.
Renee Young:
Yes, yes it is. Well, first its been almost three years since your departure from professional wrestling, any concerns of ring rust or that you might not be 100% going into your match against the Undertaker and Sting?
Shad Gaspard:
Thinking about it from a more rational standpoint, The Undertaker and Sting have more experience working in this industry than both of us combined, so we definitely have a challenge on our hands. However, both of these men have never been part of a tag team, and that's where we believe we can really capitalize. We've been a successful tag team for years, tag team matches are in our blood! It's our specialty, and NOBODY can beat us when we are teaming up. So essentially, I think we're going to be just fine for this one.
JTG
Of course we gon' win! My boy's fine! Wait, I didn't mean it like that! Quit starin' at me!
JTG turns around quickly to avoid the nonexistent judgmental stares as Shad shakes his head and motions for Renee to continue on.
Renee Young
Well, Shad, a bit of a personal question but what have you been doing since you left the business?
Shad Gaspard:
People were rumoring that I was going to become an MMA fighter, much like Brock Lesnar or Batista. But I wasn't interested in that. I have been dabbling a bit into some acting, however. My personal favorites would include....Shakespeare! You know, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and many other timeless classics. These are some very beautiful plays that I think I can give a new perspective on. I've also been making my own comic book, with some help from my tag partner, JTG.
JTG
Yeah! Thugmeister & Shad gon' be the name. CHECK THIS SHIT OUT!
JTG holds a comic book cover which has terrible drawings on it before Shad looks at JTG with concern, JTG looking back a bit surprised. They mouth a few things to each with the camera catching JTG saying 'I'm just sticking up fo' you!' and Shad replying with 'Yeah but I don't think you can say that on t.v.!' After a few more moments, Shad shrugs JTG off and turns back to Renee.
Shad Gaspard
My apologies, continue?
Renee Young
Well, I notice that. . .
Before she can finish, JTG pushes Shad back and steps in his place.
JTG
Why don't you ask me some questions?
Renee Young
Right, well what I was going to ask Shad was that I noticed you two have gone back to your original wrestling gear that you wore when you debuted back in the WWE which caused outrage and claims of you two and possibly the company 'sticking to terrible stereotypes'. Why have you gone back to the street gear? Stereotype? Comfortable? Or some reason we don't know?
JTG keeps his head focused on one spot but moves his eyes as if he is trying to think of how to answer before sliding his glasses up and pushing Shad back in his place to answer.
Shad Gaspard
I don't believe that these are "terrible stereotypes". I happen to interpret it as just a type of ring gear that nobody else wears. Think about it: Essentially almost every competitor here in this industry just wears some tights and boots.....And that's it. Back then and even today, we just wanted to mix it up a bit. We weren't thinking of stereotypes when we had this gear.
Renee Young
Well, that makes sense I guess. Anyways, one last question. As a tag team, what are your plans going into Wrestlemania Season?
JTG steps beside Shad and puts his hand in his teammate's face.
JTG
I got this one. Simple lady, five words: WE GON' GET 'DEM TITLES!
Renee jumps back at JTG's yelling and Shad removes his hand and pushes him backward once again.
Shad Gaspard
Calm down fool! Anyways, we are going to work our way to the top of the ladder. Bully Ray and The Rock may have declared themselves the tag team champions, but officially, they are nothing but a pair of rambunctious fools who are simple wanting attention. However, WE will become the REAL tag team champions. Cryme Tyme will take what's rightfully theirs!
As Shad and JTG walk off, Renee waves to them and she gets out a few words before the camera fades.
Renee Young
