Smackdown returns from commercial to show Matt Striker and Michael Cole sitting at the announce table, a cheesy smile on their face.

Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to Thursday Night Smackdown!

That's right and so far we have seen a few heated matches but up next we are going to hear from The Miz over who he will choose to be Mark Henry's opponent on RAW.
The crowd goes wild as Miz makes his way onto the stage with a smile on his face. After a few moments he does his signature pose and makes his way down the ramp, high-fiving his fans on the way down before sliding onto the apron. He makes his way over to the side with the announcer's table with a mic and Michael Cole gets up to personally hand him one. Miz and Cole shake hands to show they have gotten over their past incident before Miz goes to the middle of the ring and waits for the 'Miz is Awesome!' chants to die down.

FINALLY . . . THE MIZ HAS RETURNED TO THURSDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN!
The crowd roars out once more as Miz shakes his head in approval.

Its been far too long since I stepped foot on Smackdown and its been far too long since I was in WCF. The last time I was here I was a part of this disembodied stable and I was a complete fool. I had my reign as the Most Must See European Champion of ALL Time come to an end because I didn't have my head on straight and I was fired because of it. Well, after five long months I have finally returned to my home and after another month I have returned to my glorious stage of Smackdown. And I can already tell you all enjoy my company.
Miz paces a bit as the crowd cheers for him. He waits for them to die down a bit before carrying on with why he's out there.

I know you already know why I'm out here and that's to pick Mark Henry's opponent for RAW. Now, the past few weeks Mark Henry has been nothing more than a thorn in my side from attacking me at No Mercy to attacking me while I was recovering at home. As repercussion, Stephanie McMahon personally came to me and allowed me this opportunity. And I got to thinking. Who should I have face Mark Henry on RAW? I mean, it can be any superstar whether or not they are booked. Let's start with the most obvious choice: Myself. Obviously I could book The Miz vs Mark Henry in a No Holds Barred match and we could brawl. But I'm still injured and I wouldn't personally want to walk in against that clumsy oaf knowing that I could sustain more injuries.
The crowd boos that Miz was injured by Henry and would not want to see him return to the ring so sudden.

The next choice was someone who could match up to him: Brock Lesnar. You would be sending The Beast after The World's Strongest Man and with Paul Heyman by Lesnar's side there was a guarantee that Mark would meet his ultimate end.
The crowd boos at hearing the muscle of the Corporation's name.

There is the option of the possible future Undisputed Champion CM Punk. I mean, he IS the Best in the World and someone like Punk could absolutely take out Mark Henry.
The crowd cheers for the potential future Undisputed Champion.

I could choose Mr. Perfect who is a former tag team champion, former Mr. Money in the Bank, and he is . . . well . . . PERFECT.
The crowd boos heavily.

The list can go on and on and there are so many superstars who have accolades that reach from the bottom of the pit to the biggest of resumes. The more I thought the harder it was to choose. I mean, I was sitting at home with the records and tapes of every superstar we had and everyone seemed like they could pull it off. But I got to one file that I don't know if it was still there by accident or if it was done on purpose . . . but this person seemed like the best superstar to throw against Mark Henry. He is arguably one of the BEST superstars in the world and most of all . . . he is my best friend and he would certainly punish Mark Henry for the injuries he has caused me.
The crowd begins chanting random names from 'John Cena' to 'Alex Riley' to 'John Morrison', Miz shaking his head at each one to show that their guesses aren't correct.

Nope. In fact, he will be rather upset that . . .
Before Miz can continue he is interrupted by a theme song that sends the crowd into a loud frenzy!

W-w-w-what??? No, it can't be! There's no way it'-

Ohoho, YEAH baby! Oh, you didn't know, Cole? Road Dogg's back in the house! Listen to these fans, they're going nuts!
Road Dogg appears on the stage, looking like he's ready for action. He spreads his arms out and says "I'M BACK BABY", before walking down the ramp, high fiving several fans along the way. He slides into the ring, and hugs Miz. He then goes to a corner and does his signature D-X taunt, while the fans are still going insane. Road Dogg grabs a mic and begins his monologue.

(whispers) You guys ready for this one? (in a loud voice) LLLLLLadies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of ALL ages! D-Generation X is proud to present to you.......The FIRST WWF Champion, the FIRST WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and the FIRST WCF Hall of Famer........Jesse James, THE ROAD DOGG!!
The crowd is on fire once again as several "This is Awesome" chants start.

My goodness, it has been quite a while, hasn't it? The Road Dogg has missed more than a couple of things ever since he has left.....From my understanding, Christopher Daniels became the longest reigning world champion.......
The crowd lets out a "Daniels SUCKS" chant while Road Dogg chuckles.

Stephanie McMahon has reformed The Corporation with a toothpick of a United States Champion who hides behind one of the biggest Neanderthals in the history of this business.....
The crowd lets out a "Cody SUCKS" chant, much to the appreciation of Road Dogg and Miz.

You've got Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk, both men who seem to have rebounded from RISE AND their win-loss record since I left........Mike. What the hell happened to this place? I-I mean, I don't recall anybody in the damn roster lately who has had so much as an ounce of testicular fortitude lately. Look at the last PPV, for God's sake! We didn't get a new champion, all these fans were SCREWED out of their money because the WCF Championship match, the main event, the cream of the crop, probably the one match we were all looking forward to the most.....Destroyed because both men were counted out. You've gotta be kidding me. I don't mean to sound like an old fart, but back in MY day, we had people who would stop at nothing to get what they wanted, and we had people who had would splatter dog feces all over other people, taking on the role of a bounty hunter and arresting their punk asses.......like a certain someone.......Back in the day. But I'm not here to rant about today's WCF. What I am here for is help my friend, The Miz. You see, The Miz has been having trouble with a certain someone who calls himself The World's Strongest Man, but personally, I like to call him The World's Biggest Joke! This guy thinks he's hot stuff, ain't he? Boy, I've taken dumps that have looked bigger than you! You want to injure my best friend? You want to prove yourself to the world? Well, buddy, here's your chance.....For ONE NIGHT ONLY, yours truly, The Road Dogg, the Hall of Famer, will face off, in FOUR days , on RAW, against Mark Henry!
The crowd goes absolutely nuts over the announcement, and Road Dogg does his signature taunt once more, as Miz smiles.

Not only is RAW goes to get AWESOME with Road Dogg on it . . . but for the first time ever I will be in someone else's corner as I stand behind Dogg here to give him support as he defeats Mark Henry!
The crowd is losing their minds as Miz's music goes off and both men stand on opposite turnbuckles, each doing their signature taunt as Smackdown cuts to the next segment.

what do I know really...? But this seems to be well put together and for a newcomer like myself, certainly helped to further my understanding of the history of this e-Fed. Well written promo.
