| We head backstage where we see WCF Diva Maxine leading a hapless Johnny Curtis down a hallway. Johnny Curtis
So uhm... Where are we going again?Maxine quickly stops in her tracks and turns to look at Curtis.Maxine

For the last time, we can not allow for Austin Aries to walk around with that Intercontinental Championship around his waist, it is not his to be parading around with, it is yours Johnny, it always has been and you deserve to have it back in your grasp. So we're going to see the General Manager of RAW to make sure that is exactly what happens. Now come on.The two continue to walk down the hallway until they come to a stop outside the office of the General Manager, Stephanie McMahon.Maxine

… Well yeah there's that, but I mean what I told you earlier on the way here...Curtis scratches his head as if trying to remember the conversation they had earlier that night as Maxine stares on.Maxine
Ok well I'll just tell you again, but please make sure to listen to me this time... This is very important.  Curtis nods and Maxine smiles in relief as she turns back to look at the name tag on the door of the office.Maxine

Johnny?...Maxine turns around to see Curtis on his knees over by the wall staring down at the floor.Maxine

Turn around and look at me!Johnny steps up to his feet and turns around to look at Maxine, who instantly screams out loud as Crutis is holding what appears to be a tiny rodent in the palm of his hands. Curtis strokes the small furry animal with his fingers while Maxine cringes at the sight of it.Maxine
Where did you get that disgusting thing?! Curtis is too distracted by the little creature in his hands to take notice of Maxine's yelling.???
EXCUSE ME!!As soon as she hears the words, Maxine slowly turns around to come face to face with the woman herself, Stephanie McMahon, who does not look happy.Stephanie McMahon

Thank you Curtis. I really do appreciate it. Now as far as your request goes... Austin Aries has been nothing but a disappointment ever since he beat Paul Wight for the Intercontinental Championship. It is clear to me that he does not have the full potential needed to hold a championship within this company. And you appear to be a very different story. You're entertaining, and I've seen that you come alive in the ring... So I have no issue with giving you the opportunity Curtis. You will challenge for the Intercontinental Championship at No Mercy.Curtis still seems a little upset over losing his new friend but Maxine steps in for him.Maxine

I was going to name him Maxi...With that, Maxine frowns and grabs Johnny Curtis as they make their way down the corridor with Curtis looking back toward Stephanie and little Hunter as they walk away. Stephanie watches as they turn around the corridor and the last thing we see is Stephanie laughing lightly to herself before returning to her office. | |
