Mystery Tape Found Backstage(part 1)

A broken tape recorder was found backstage by the WCF crew post RAW. What seemed like garbage quickly led to a tape in working condition being discovered. Backstage officials claimed in faded marker a word was written "~~FEAR~~". What does this mean? Upon searching searching a tape recorder was found and after inserting the newly found tape there was a voice beyond the static.

I am the writing on the wall, the whisper in the classroom. Without these things, I am nothing. YOU WILL HEAR ME. I AM Se------(tape cuts out)

WCFL officials were seen gathering around this device. They questioned it's purpose or it's meaning. More to come upon further details. The WCF roster was asked to report any suspicious behavior or any information leading to this event.

Josh then smiles before asking away.

Brodus:
I don't know man, I was to busy playing Mario. What happened?

Josh:
Well there was a mysterious message that said something about "I am the writing on the wall" and...

Brodus:
Oh! I heard some people talkin about that in the locker room!

Josh:
Really?

Brodus:
Nope.

Brodus then walks away from a confused Josh Matthews

Rob stops and turns around to look at Josh

Sure, dude. What is it?

Earlier tonight, there was a broken tape recorder that said "I am the writing on the wall, the whisper in the classroom." Do you know who could have done something like that?

Rob Van Dam stands there, thinking for a minute.

Rob Van Dam

No, dude. I don't know who it could be. I've heard about it backstage and it sounds really weird, man. I doubt anyone's come up with anything, but I guess when someone knows, they'll say something. Now I gotta go, man. Talk to ya later, Josh.

Josh Matthews

Josh Matthews makes his way over to a worn out Kurt Angle, resting up after his match earlier in the night

Matthews:
Kurt, would you like to comment on the mysterious message found backstage not long ago?

Kurt:
Listen here, bucko! I just busted my ass out in the ring, putting on a REAL show for all these people, while giving a wrestling lesson to everyone in the locker room....and the last thing I want to deal with, is talking to some kiss ass, asking about some recording. But I don't blame you, Josh. In fact I applaud your smarts for knowing to come to the real man here in the WCF locker room.

Josh Matthews has a slight smile for being acknowledged, then Angle smacks across the face

Angle:
But next time you come to me asking dumb questions...I'll be forced to handle things differently

Angle begins walking away from a disgruntled Josh Matthews before turning around and saying...

Angle:
And if you weren't as slow as you are, you would have thought to check the security cameras around the arena before interrupting my post match relaxation time.

We're taken backstage, where Josh Mathews is standing next to Brock Lesnar, who just happens to be devouring the wiring of the LCD television nearby, Josh, sweating in fear, starts to ask a question to Lesnar.

Josh Mathews:
Brock, would you like to comment on this "tape" that has surfaced recently? It mentioned something about "writing on the wall", can you elaborate on this?

Lesnar turns to face Mathews, wiring in mouth. He gives him a look like he really doesn't care, then proceeds to devour the mic. He swallows it and the sound of digestion in the stomach can be heard. Lesnar gives Mathews a "You like that?" sort of look. Josh is about to turn away and leave, but not before Lesnar unleashes his open hand slap to the back of the head, knocking Josh Mathews out cold. Lesnar lets out his signature scream before leaving....

Josh Matthews is running out of breath as he runs around the backstage looking for more superstars. He smashes his head off of Chris Jericho and rebounds off, quickly straightening his suit and looking into the camera.

Josh Matthews: "Chris. We have just found something backstage and were wondering if you knew anythi-"

Chris Jericho is quick to interrupt.

Chris Jericho: "Does this have anything to do with Big E?"

Josh Matthews: "Uh, no. But I was just wonde-"

Chris Jericho: "Does this have anything to do with Mr. T?"

Josh Matthews: "No. Please Chri-"

Chris Jericho: "Then I want you to get out of my face. I don't have time for anyone else's business."

With that, Jericho walks off into the distance.

Later in the show we cut back to the same backstage set as before: a half eaten tv, wires cut and hanging loose all over the place and an unconscious Josh Mathews laying motionless on the ground. We hear some talking in the distance which the camera follows. We turn a corner to see Mr Money in the Bank, Drew McIntyre walking down the hall alongside his long time friend, Heath Slater.

Heath Slater

... And then I said, "Well if you hadn't had touched me there in the first place none of this would have happened!"

The two laugh a little before walking past a door that reads "Cody Rhodes"

Heath Slater

Ahh, good times. So what about this guy, you still talk to him these days?

Drew McIntyre

Who Cody? Nah. Haven't spoken to him since he tried to take this away from me.

Drew shows his briefcase.

We're not really to friendly these days.

Heath Slater

That sucks, we had some good times back in the day. Remember that one night on WCW?

Drew McIntyre

How could I forget?

They both laugh a little again.

Heath Slater

You know, I never did find those pants...

The two stop in their tracks as they turn the corner to find Josh spread out on the floor. Drew shrugs and keeps walking until Heath stops him and asks...

Heath Slater

Wait, aren't we going to do something?

Drew McIntyre

Nah it's only Josh, this happens all the time, he'll wake up eventually.

Heath Slater

What happened to him?

Drew McIntyre

Well lets see...

Drew surveys the area.

Drew McIntyre

Yeah this is pretty open and shut. Look over there...

Drew points at the tv

Drew McIntyre

Brock has been here.

Heath Slater

Oh god!

Drew McIntyre

Well well, what have we here?

Drew goes over and lifts up a piece of paper that was hanging out of Josh's pocket. It reads "Broken tape recorder... Writing on the wall... Find out more" Drew folds the paper and places it back on Josh.

Drew McIntyre

It appears there's someone new amongst us.

Heath Slater

Who is it?

Drew McIntyre

I have no idea. I couldn't care less anyway, it'll sort itself out. So where were we?

The camera begins panning away from the two who continue talking as they were before. Just as the camera is about to fade out we hear a loud thump, and a loud rip.

Heath Slater

Aww crap!

The camera turns to reveal Drew helping Heath to his feet whilst laughing hysterically. The camera fades to black but not before getting a slight glimps of Slater's ass through a hole in his pants.

(There are a few things in there that the new guys won't understand but anyway, open to anyone)

Slater runs out of the shot as Josh Matthews is finally beginning to stir

What the hell are you babbling about, Matthews?

Hennig helps Matthews to his feet
Matthews is bleeding a bit from his nose and ears as he begins to speak

Matthews
Mr... Mr. Hennig. Do you happen.. to know.. anyth-

Hennig
Ya know i've heard about that mysterious tape already - infact I think everybody has. Ya know, you're not quite the perfect detective there, Matthews... And no, I don't know anything more. Keep looking, and word to the wise, you might want to visit a doctor.

Hennig walks off, looking almost as if the ridiculous situation he just witnessed put him into a much better mood

A beat up Josh Matthews rounds a corridor, and another, and another before spotting 'The Big Red Machine' possibly heading towards the ring. Not wanting to let this opportunity pass, Josh quickly turns around and smiles into the camera.

Josh Matthews

Hi there ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to Monday Night RAW. I am here with my guest at this time . . . KANE!

Kane hears his name and stops beside Josh, falling for his trap. Josh is still smiling but as he looks up at Kane his smile fades away and is quickly transitioning into terror. Now shaking in his place, Josh barely manages to stammer out his question.

Josh Matthew

N-n-now Kane, we have . . . uh . . . we have been shown a mysterious tape and since you are b-b-basically the king of mysterious . . . NOT in a bad way what I mean is that since you are the king of . . . uh . . . well what I mean is . .

Before Josh can correct himself, Kane snarls and grabs him by the throat and begins walking down the hallway as we cut to the announce table.

Jim Ross

BAH GAWD KING!! KANE HAS GRABBED OUR INTERVIEWER JOSH MATTHEWS BY HIS THROAT AND IS NOW GOING TO DRAG HIM TO HELL!!

Jerry "The King" Lawler

This is what he gets for annoying everyone in the building.

The camera cuts back to the scene to show Kane still forcing Josh down a hallway before going back to the announce table.

Jim Ross

I wonder where in the hell Kane is taking him!

It cuts back to show Kane STILL forcing Josh down a hallway, making a few turns here and there before going back to the announce table.

Jim Ross

Seriously, where the hell is he taking him?

Jerry "The King" Lawler

I have no idea but he needs to hurry this getting old.

Before cutting back to the scene, the camera turns a bit so Jim Ross is barely in the view and we are now shown Jerry Lawler and William Regal. Regal has an old fashioned cart in front of him and is drooling over the hot tea on it.

Jerry "The King" Lawler

Right, Regal?

William Regal

Right . . . right.

The camera shows Regal not really caring about Lawler's question and still drooling over the tea in which he finally grabs a cup off the cart and then the camera pans back to show Kane and Josh Matthews entering the parking lot. Kane maneuvers his way in between and around cars before reaching a beat up Ford Pinto, presumably Josh's. Kane reaches in Josh's front pocket and pulls out his keys and attempt to unlock the door.

Josh Matthews

It . . . it uh . . . it gets stuck sometimes.

Kane glares at Josh before setting the keys onto the roof and then grabbing Josh's head and forcing the window open with it, but once again to no avail as Josh apparently installed Plexiglas in it. Becoming angry, Kane bounces Josh's head off the window several more times, forcing Josh into a barely conscious state. Becoming aggravated now, Kane attempts to rip the door off to learn that the car was never locked as when he pulls on the handle, it opens. He stares at the door as if amazed before shrugging and placing Josh in the driver's seat and then putting the keys in the ignition. Kane leaves for a moment before coming back with a giant rock. He turns on the car for Josh and then puts it into gear and places the rock on the gas pedal but before the car can move, Kane quickly takes it off and places it on the dash before smiling and then buckling up Josh Matthew's he then picks the rock back up and smiles eerily.

Kane

Have a safe trip.

With that, Kane lets the rock hit the gas pedal and the car lurches forward but because Matthews is barely conscious, he instead just crashes into the car on the other side of the parking garage. The camera pans back over to Kane who is smiling happily and shaking his head in his own amusement before walking off.

I mean, this could possibly be one of the biggest mystery's in WCF history! No one knows what happened or who's to blame. Regal, Curt, the other Kurt, Jericho, none of them know a thing! The best of all . . . Heath and Drew don't know either! I mean, how could they not know!? How could they not know that it was I that stole Heath's pants all that time ago!?

Cody pauses as the laughter from the fans rises, The Bella Twins staring up at him, stroking his mustache.

Yes, yes, it's all to true, my loves. I was but a fool, and those pants! Those pants were simply too cool for school, as the kids would say. I needed to have them. I needed to.

The Twins put their hands over Cody's mouth, preventing him from speaking any further. Rhodes begins to laugh, The Twins join him.

Cody

You're right, I should speak no more of the past, but of the future!

Rhodes lets a smile overtake his face.

Stone Cold: What do you MEAN, is that all I have to say about it? Did you want a speech, you ignorant shit. Cody did it, he always messes things up, it's how he got his job, by messing up and being born into a wrestling family. His Momma messed up when she went with the Janitor and had his baby.

Interviewer: Harsh words, uhm, yeaaah. Well, the words "FEAR" were crossed out on the tape. What do you think it means?

Stone Cold: It means, I'm Cody Rhodes and I did it.

Stone Cold: Now, I'mma drink. So if you'd kindly find a place, out of my way, where you can get your head out of your ass. That'd be great. And you won 't wake up with a sore head. Go on, get out. Now...

The camera moves away, Austin still sat in his chair.

What made it all worse is that after the police and paramedics left Trey still couldn't walk right, let alone sit down for more than 5 minutes at a time without having to move around.
