RAW returns from commercial break, as Angle and Hennig are both laying in the ring
JR:
Welcome back to Monday Night RAW, if you are just joining us, Kurt Angle issued a challenge to Curt Hennig earlier tonight. Angle challenged Hennig to a two out of three falls match, inside of the steel cage.
King:
That's right JR, and for some reason I won't understand, Hennig accepted the match! Even though he has a title match in just a couple of weeks!
JR:
Before we went to break we saw the match tied a one fall a piece. Angle scored first by hitting two Angle slams in a row, and then he even had to use the ropes on the pin.
King:
It really shows that Angle wasn't sure he had done enough to get the first pinfall!
JR:
Hennig got on the board not long after. Angle went back on the attack immediately. As he was building up a head full of steam he went up to the top rope and went for the moonsault. Hennig rolled out of the way just in time, and started his attack. He ended his run with a Hennig-Plex, and pinned Angle to tie our match up.
King:
Someone has to win this match, JR!
The match continues as both wrestlers are going through their move-set. Angle finally begins to build a head of steam. He looks ready to end the match as he starts to get ready for another Angle Slam. Hennig comes to his feet, Angle picks him up and slams him to the mat.

The crowd erupts in cheers, as an amazing match comes to an end.
JR:
Angle did it! Angle beat Hennig 2-1, after the Angle Slam!
King:
What a match JR! Both of these men gave it all they had inside the cage. This may be the most cheers these two get for the rest of their time here in the WCF!
Angle is laying in the corner, trying to catch his breath. Hennig is laying on the other side of the ring with little motion. The cage begins to rise up, back into the rafters.
JR:
The question now is, will Hennig be able to compete for the title in a couple weeks.
King:
These are professionals, JR. Of course Hennig will be able to compete.
The cage has moved all the way back up at this point. Hennig starts to try and get back to his feet. Angle, still across the ring begins to walk slowly toward him. The crowd begins to send boos toward Angle as looks like he may attack his rival. As Hennig makes his way to his feet he turns around. Angle and Hennig stand close together just looking at each other, both men completely drained of energy.
King:
You have to wonder if a best of 3 falls in the cage was enough for these two tonight, JR.
Angle then takes another step toward Hennig. He extends out his hand slowly and holds it there.
JR:
Look at this, it appears that Angle has gained some respect for Hennig, as he is looking to shake his hand right now in the ring.
King:
Don't do it, Hennig, it's a trap! Angle has no respect for anyone here in the WCF!
[Promo open to Curt Hennig, feedback welcome at the end]
