Now that you have made it this far, it's time to learn how to play with our members in the WCF. Make sure that you read and understand all of the following rules so when you play with another member, you can both have a good time. Remember: WCF League is NOT a simulation league, but instead a fairplaying league.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GENERAL WCF
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monday Night RAW matches are MANDATORY and players are expected to complete their given match each week. Once the card is posted, players will have until the posting of the next card (usually Sunday or Monday) to complete their match. If the match cannot be completed by Saturday for whatever reason, or you have contacted your opponent but have received no response, make sure to let us know by posting it within the RAW card.

Thursday Night Smackdown matches are optional and players do not have to participate in them. Cards are posted each Thursday and if you wish to participate in one, then it is up to you to find an opponent. Each player may only compete in ONE Smackdown match each week (those with two superstars may complete a match with each).

When in the XAT Chat for WCFLeague, EVERYONE is required to follow the following rules:
No flooding or scrolling
No typing in all or excessive CAPS
No threats of any kind
No advertisements
No discriminatory statements including but not limited to:  religion, race, gender, sexual preference, physically or mentally handicapped individuals or social underpriviledged groups.
Chat names are to be either the Superstar you play as or your Gamertag (or a variant of your Gamertag or a combination of both) and are to be 20 characters or less (unless your wrestler's name happens to be longer).
There are NO exceptions to any of the above rules. Mods will treat the situation how they see fit. Everyone in the chat is subject to being guested, banned, or kicked if deemed necessary.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General Fairplaying
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hacked and/or modded movesets are PROHIBITED.

Do NOT spam (hitting the same move repeatedly) your opponent. WWE 2k14 allows more variations of move, so make sure to keep the match fresh by changing up the moves you do within the match.

Pickups (up on the Right Thumb Stick) are irreversible meaning players may not pickup opponents until they are laying flat on their back or stomach (if they are holding a body part while laying down, wait for the animation to finish before attempting a pickup or grapple).

Players must allow superstars to cleanly enter the ring if exited, however if an opponent on the outside taunts, they may be attacked when they enter for that time.

Running grapples within approximately three player lengths are unacceptable. We understand accidents may happen, however do not persist on these tactics.

Constantly running from opponents to taunt and gain momentum is an unfair advantage and will result in a warning.

Double teams are allowed, however, do NOT double team on an opponent for a variation of a match. Constantly picking on one superstar will result in a warning for both players.

Players MUST finish a match with a finisher. When a finisher is hit, you may only go for the pin at that moment. It is acceptable to throw an opponent out of the ring or attack him after he has hit a finisher on someone else to steal the victory.

A player CANNOT be hit or pinned by a finisher unless two of their body parts are red. This ensures that both players have a lengthychance to win.

Players MUST show their opponent they are double red by performing a limb target before ever attempting a finisher. If your opponent does not show you are red, then you are safe to assume that you are not.

For multiman matches, you must hit at least one finisher on each opponent in your match before attempting to win (excluding Elimination matches). In the case of six-man matches, you will need to hit at least one finisher on at least three people before attemping to win (excluding Elimination matches).

Superstars with Catching/Catapult Finishers may only use the Catapult ability if the opponent is running at you (as his own free will, not as an Irish Whip Rebound). However, you will be unable to taunt or hit another finisher for 30 seconds. Both Catapult and Catching Finishers have a limit of 1 of each per match.

Players may NOT hit a finisher on an opponent while in a chain grapple. Doing so causes an almost instant finisher which is nearly impossible to reverse.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
General Tag Team
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
During any tag match that is not Tornado Tag, it is not allowed for the illegal men to randomly run into the ring and interfere in the match-up, except if your partner is being pinned or submitted. Once you have broken up the pin or submission, you are to return to your corner.

In Elimination Tag matches (excluding Tornado), players may only enter the ring to save their partner a total of THREE times. This total counts for the entire team, so use them wisely.

Rules For Managers:
Cannot enter the ring unless the referee is knocked down (the player must exit as soon as the referee is standing).
Can grab at the opponent's feet an unlimited amount of times (not to be abused).
Can assist their superstar by handing them a weapon.
Can attack an opponent on the outside ONLY if the referee is distracted (with the exception of DQ being off. However, this does not allow the manager/superstar to make the match unfair by constantly teaming on an opponent).
Managers may get on the apron and distract the referee.
Causing yourself to get tossed out of the match in any way will stand as is.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gray Area
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While doing the following things every now and then is not a problem, making it a consistent thing within a match will result in a warning.

Strong Strikes in Chain Grapple: Strong Strikes while in a chain grapple make the strike harder to reverse and can become very annoying very quickly.

Running Grapple to a Downed Opponent: In WWE 2k14, it is completely possible to do a running grapple to downed opponent, which makes for a harder to reverse grapple (although it isn't impossible to reverse).

Delaying Moves: The normal time for a delay is no more than two seconds, but players may occasionally go over this period. While delaying is acceptable, constantly doing it to gain an advantage is not.

Pick-Up Finishers: Simply put, picking up your opponent and instantly hitting your opponent with a finisher.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Character Rules
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Superstar movesets may be altered, but must remain realistic. If you are unsure about a move, ask an admin or moderator. If an admin or moderator is unsure about a move, players will be asked to provide an appropriate link of them doing the move.

Any changes to the Signatures, Finishers, Abilities, or Stats of your superstar must first be brought to the attention of an admin or moderator to determine whether or not the change is acceptable.

Character stats must be realistic, and CAW stats must be accurate to the superstar.

Make sure the superstar you choose is the one you want. While you may switch, everyone is only rewarded with FIVE total switches that must last the entire year (from game to game).

Players have the option to pick up a second character, but they must first be active for at least two months and have been consistent with promos and completing matches. If a player fails to keep active with both his characters, he will eventually be asked by an admin to drop one.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roleplay Rules
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WCF is not just a league for fairplaying, but general roleplaying as well. As such, superstars on the active roster will be expected (but not required) to promo at least once a week. Those who do not promo or are less active than others will receive less opportunities than those who who participate. Any superstars who do not promo for an extended period of time will be asked to start promoing or be removed from the roster. Superstars who are champions have the following requirements:
World Champion: MUST promo at least once a week in the Smackdown or RAW promo sections (exclusive promos do not count).
Mid-Card Champion: MUST promo at least once every two weeks in the Smackdown or RAW promo sections (exclusive promos do not count).

All promos must end with a tag such as:
[THIS PROMO IS CLOSED]
[THIS PROMO IS OPEN TO ANYONE]
[THIS PROMO IS OPEN FOR _______]
Any promo not ending with a tag will be treated as open to anyone.

-If you wish to attack another superstar in a promo, you are to first get permission from the person who plays them.
