The new Intercontinental Champion [OPEN TO ANYONE]

Daniel Bryan makes his way out and down the ramp, looking down and depressed. He makes his way to the announce table, and into the ring. He holds the mic in his hand then looks up at the crowd. He then begins to pace around the ring with the mic still in his hand, as the crowd shouts a mix of cheers and boos. After a few minutes of pacing, Daniel Bryan looks up and whispers into the mic.

Daniel Bryan: yes yes YES! YES!! YES!!!!



Daniel Bryan continues to chant yesses as part of the crowd joins in and the other part counters with No! chants. Eventually Bryan stops his chant then begins to talk once again.

Daniel Bryan: Please welcome your new INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!!!!! Finally, gold is around the waste of a man who deserves it. Finally, Gold is around the best technical wrestling in this company. Finally, this title is where it belongs! Yes! Yes! Yes, and everyone here can thank me for bringing essence and respect back to this title. The bookers in the back sure are not, because tonight, I have been scheduled to face not just one person, but two people tonight.

The Crowd starts chanting Yes to the fact that Bryan is in a handicap match.

Daniel Bryan: You know what, though? I don't care, I will beat both of them just like how I won the title last night. It doesn't matter if its Shawn Michaels, Drew McIntyre, or anyone else in the back, I will conquer them just like I conquer everyone else that is set before me.

Jim Ross: I think Daniel Bryan may be forgetting that he also lost to Shawn Michaels last night.

Jerry Lawler: I'm sure he hasn't forgotten JR, I just don't think he counts it due to being tired from the earlier match in the night.

Jim Ross: That is really stupid King.



Daniel Bryan is overwhelmed with boos as he disrespects McIntyre and Michaels.

Daniel Bryan: Do you all really think anyone in the back poses any threat to me or this title?

The Crowd yells "Yes!"

Daniel Bryan: You know what, I'll prove it then. Anyone who thinks they prove any threat to the most skilled and talented wrestling in the WWF, then they can come out here right, and show me proof! I'll be waiting.

Bryan makes his way to the ropes and stands there waiting for anyone to come out.

While it was nice to actually see you promo for once I hope this isn't the quality of all promos going forward. Sure I understand it would be better if you could have another reply if Fandango actually finished his part but there is still so much more you could've done, I mean you were the Intercontinental champion for god sake. I'm hoping to see better next time and looking for you to be MUCH more consistent with your promoting. +2.5Sp

Was this it? Your big promo on becoming the new Intercontinental champion... To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. There was basically nothing to this promo at all except one paragraph of almost unreadable text. No pictures, no commentary, no real point whatsoever. Not to mention you completely forgot to come back and do what you said you would. As the new IC champion there NEEDS to be better than this. +1.5Sp
