I'd just like to ask you a few questions before you leave the arena tonight.Christopher Daniels:
I'm forever wondering when you people will just go away. Go ahead, a few questions then I'm out of here.Josh Mathews:
First of all, congratulations on your Undisputed Championship win over Drew McIntyre. Your thoughts? Christopher Daniels:
I told the entire world I was going to become the longest reigning Champion that WWF...or WCF, whatever they're calling it these days, has ever seen. Today is the 26th of August, I have held my World Title for 91 Days, just over a week and I'll receive the crowning of "Longest Champion in History". It has a good ring to it, right? Fallen Angel, World Tag Team Champion...of the world, Undisputed Champion...of the World, Longest Reigning Champion EVER. Those are some accolades that will only be held by one man, and that's me, understood?Josh Mathews:
Of course, sir. Now, how come we haven't heard much from you lately?Christopher Daniels:
I'll put this as simply as I can, actions speak louder than words. I have been undefeated in one-on-one competition since early May. That's...3 months I've been dominating everybody that has stepped in that ring with me. I don't need to constantly come out there and grab that microphone, the people watching in the audience get to worship me every time my hand is raised.Josh Mathews:
Sure, Champ. Now lets talk about your Tag Team Partner, Frankie Kazarian. Rumors have been flying around about his contract negotiations, your thoughts?Christopher Daniels:
While I can't comment on Frankie's contract discussions, I can say this. He will remain my best friend whether he stays with the company or not. Our reign as Tag Team Champions was one hell of a blast. I'd more than love for Bad Influence to continue to dominate the Tag Team Division, what's left of it anyway. We kind of destroyed every team that was thrown at us.Josh Mathews:
Now here's my final question. What do you think of the current talent on the Roster? Is there anybody you think that stands out in the Locker Room? Perhaps you think there is competition within WCF? *Daniels facepalms and gets in his car, driving off leaving Josh Mathews alone backstage.* |
