As the newly merged WWF's Raw comes back from commercial break we see Cody Rhodes standing in a random hallway, tossing a rubix cube up and down.
Cody:Man, how did Dolph and Edge ever finish these things?
He looks at the cube and shakes his head, throwing the cube down the hallway. Cody remains up against the wall, thinking about his WWF title match later on in the night. Before long a figure appears in front of Cody holding the cube in their hand. Rhodes straightens himself out and looks at the man, taking a deep breath.
The camera pans over to reveal the man as Drew McIntyre, Cody's former friend, and rival.
Cody:Drew. Is there something that you want?
McIntyre tosses the now solved cube up in the air then catches it.
McIntyre:I think you dropped this, Cody.
The two remain in silent for a moment before Rhodes speaks up.
Cody:So. . .this fatal-4-way match.
Drew laughs.
McIntyre:It's something else, isn't it?
Cody scratches his head then moves closer to Drew. Rhodes stands still for a moment before extending his hand.
Cody:Good luck tonight, we're both gonna need it.
Drew looks at Cody's hand for a second before extending his and the two shake hands.
McIntyre:Good luck, Cody.
With that Drew walks off, tossing the cube back to Cody. Rhodes watches as McIntyre walks off, then takes another looks at the rubix cube and laughs.
