A Table of Friends

RAW returns from its commercial break to find a group of four individuals sitting around a table. The cameraman begins to walk into the room and while he's doing so he passes a sign.

'Cody Rhodes' Locker room'

As he continues into the room, the four individuals are made clear. MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Christian and Cody Rhodes all sit around the table talking. Arms waving, fists slamming down and shaking heads are seen as the cameraman rests his camera down and zooms in on the newly formed stable. Cody, lent back in his chair raises up and clears his throat, hushing the other three men.

Cody

Everyone just calm down. I know tensions are high and that things are difficult right now but we can't be at each others throats. I have a championship match in three weeks time, three weeks! My dad hates me, Bad Influence wants us dead and now Randy Orton is forming his own little stable! So I get why you're all mad, why you're all nervous, why you're all anxious! But we're a team! I brought you all together so that we could rise to the top of this company. MVP, Shelton, Christian, all three of you are now a part of a family. Our family. My family. We are the best that this company has to offer! In the high flying department, in the technical department and in the strength department. I am the United States Champion. At Summerslam WE beat Kazarian to win this title, we did it together. I didn't call each of you up and beg Stephanie to give you contracts for no reason. You're here to make a name for yourselves, to be something! We are an Enterprise, we're THE Enterprise. This is going to be our company in no time. But I can't make my way to the top alone. I need a team. I need MY team. So, are you with me?

Cody, with his title laying on the table next to some papers, looks around at his friends and shrugs. He asks them again, "are you with me?" There is a moment of silence before MVP stands up and looks at Cody, taking a deep breath before talking.

(Open to MVP, then Christian, then me again!)

MVP clears his throat then looks around the room and begins to speak

Alright man this is how it is. You my boy and you know I got your back but we gotta figure this mess out. The highest paid superstar in smackdown history didnt sign up to have to watch his back every second of the day. There is supposed to be big things poppin and little things stoppin around here. But with Kaz and Daniels running around here seeing red with a target on our heads that cant really happen can it? Now I got Seth Rollins tonight and that's not a problem. But Christian you got Kaz tonight and if you can take him out not only does that rid us of one bum that we have to worry about, but that also puts you in the match to bring the title home to The Enterprise. That is if Chris makes it out of raw tonight ain't that right Shelton? You and I both know what you are capable of doing that seeing as we beat the hell out of each other a couple times. So as long as you do that we got this in the bag. All I'm saying is. . .

Christian stands up, puts his hand on MVP's chest and says "I've got this" then begins to speak

Christian pats MVP's chest several times, and then drops his hands down onto the table, as he looks on at all 3 men.

Listen, Cody, we've had our issues in the past, and to be honest, that is all in the past, this is about the present and OUR future. You have to defend your title at Unforgiven, Shelton and MVP will secure the vacant titles at Unforgiven, and I have a match against Kaz tonight, and if I win, I get a title shot against Daniels, we all trust each other here, and we can do this. As long as we're around, nothing is going to stand in our way. No matter what, I know that we all will have each others backs for all our title matches at Unforgiven. We will all soon become champions, Cody, you have brought us all to new heights, we can succeed, we can accomplish anything, overcome any roadblocks in our way! Because we are. . .

Shelton's hand pats Christians shoulder, giving him a gesture that he wants to speak out.

(Ain't no stopping him now, its Shelton's turn!)

Shelton stands tall, nodding his head at both MVP and Christian before beginning to speak.

Now like both MVP and Christian said, we're unstoppable now. We have the United States title, Christian is getting his chance to go for the WORLD TITLE! And in no time at all, I know that I will once again become the Intercontinental Champion! The Gold Standard needs his gold, and he's going to get it. And it's all because of you, Cody. You called us all up and you got us our jobs back! Without you I'd be jobbing out to some loser in Japan. Christian would be floating between jobs, and MVP would be making another shitty album!

Shelton looks over at MVP and grins, the two laugh before Shelton continues.

Because of you Cody, I-

Shelton is stopped by Rhodes who has heard enough. He smiles, letting them know that he is pleased before addressing them.

Rhodes

I'm. . . Pleased to hear that you all of you stand beside me. And although Stephanie bypassed me and gave the title opportunity to you Christian, I have faith that you'll bring that title home. And I will stand by you, like a true friend should. Now, we all have big matches tonight, so let's get ready. Let's win for us, let's win for our Enterprise!

Rhodes raises both of his hands and the other three join him. The camera pans out on the group dispersing, getting ready for their Raw matches.
