Cody Rhodes 'The Nice Guy'

By gawd King, he killed him! His neck has to be broken after that move!

Kazarian is going for the cover, 1. . . 2. . . NO! Cody Rhodes kicked out!

Rhodes rolls away from the relentless Kazarian, trying to catch his breath. It's come down to the two of them, Kazarian and Rhodes, Punk and Roode already eliminated. We will have a new United States Champion, but who? Cody gets to his feet with the help of the ropes. Kaz has a huge grin on his face, he knows he has this match won. 

Kaz won't let up, he just keeps going and going, Cody can barley stand anymore!

I'm not one to predict the outcome of many matches, but I think Kaz has this one in the bag so to speak.

Kaz closes in for the kill, calling for the finishing move. Rhodes tumbles around before a theme song hits the speakers, distracting Kaz and turning his attention to the stage. 

What in the hell!? It's. . . It's Shelton Benjamin! What's he doing here!? My gawd!!!

My goodness, J.R. it's the gold standard, it's Shelton Benjamin! I heard rumors he was coming to the WCF, but what's he doing at Summerlslam, at this time!?

The crowd is going nuts as the former U.S. and Intercontinental champion makes his way down the stage. He focused on Kaz, his eyes forward, no smile or grin found. But it doesn't stop there, the crowd can be heard cheering even louder as the titantron catches someone moving rapidly through the crowd. The them changes suddenly as Kaz throws his arms up into the air, trying to make sense of everything.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!? IT'S MVP, IT'S MVP!!!

Whoa, something isn't right here, Benjamin and MVP showing up here. . . Now!? This is no coincidence, J.R.!

MVP rushes towards the security railing, jumping over it and landing near the announce tables. Benjamin has now made his way to the ring and is standing on the outside, still staring at Kazarian. MVP makes his way to the opposite side of Shelton and the both of them begin to climb up onto the ring apron. They pause once they're on it, Kaz looks back and forth, still not sure what's going on when the next theme song hits.

  

NOW WAIT JUST ONE DAMN SECOND, IT'S CHRISTIAN, IT's CHRISTIAN!!! WHAT IN THE BLUE HELL IS GOING ON HERE, KING!?!?

Don't ask me, J.R. Please don't ask me. This is crazy!

Christian comes out onto the stage, bearing a cocky smile. He looks down at the ring and nods. At his signal both MVP and Shelton enter the ring. Kaz stands his ground, raising his fists. But instead of attacking him, the two move over to Cody and lift him off his feet. They hold his arms, refusing to let him free. Christian nods them begins to move down the ramp. the crowd is screaming and roaring for the appearance of Cody's old RISE teammate. Is this revenge? Christian reaches the ring and slowly climbs the steel steps. Walking right past Kaz, Christian makes his way over to Cody. He stands right smack in front of Rhodes, MVP and Shelton still holding him still. Christian smiles, then demands a mic from ringside. After a few moments, he receives one, he walks back over to Cody and brings to the mic to his mouth. But as he is about to speak he shakes his head and sticks the mic in Cody's face. There is a moment of silence before Cody speaks.

Do it.

With that, MVP and Shelton let go of Cody and charge at Kaz. the unsuspecting Kaz gets caught off guard and hit with a double clothesline. Christian pats Rhodes on the back and the two watch as Kaz gets torn apart.

What? What are they doing!? Someone stop this!

It seems as though MVP, Shelton and Christian are here to help Cody, King!

Why Cody, why!?

MVP rips Kaz off the ground and laughs in his face. The crowd is now in a booing frenzy as MVP hurls Kaz towards Benjamin with all of his strength, oh no, Jumping Complete Shot!!!

Kaz's head smacks down hard on the canvas, making the crowd gasp. Now it's MVP's turn as Shelton helps Kaz's motionless body up, throwing him hard. MVP catches him with the Drive By!

Oh man, what a shot straight to the jaw of Kazarian! That looked painful!

The duo laugh as Kaz rolls around on the mat, holding his jaw in pain. Cody looks at Christian and points to Kaz, saying "Why don't you take a shot?" Christian shrugs, and with a little cheer from MVP and Shelton, agrees. Porter and Benjamin lift Kaz up and nod to Christian who is now bent down in the corner, awaiting the arrival of Kaz. MVP and Shelton whip Kaz off the ropes and throw him towards Christian who hits him with a massive spear!

Oh lord, enough of the savagery! Leave the poor man alone!

I like it, J.R., it seems like Cody has reverted to his old ways, but with some new faces involved!

Kaz lays on the mat, breathing heavily, not moving a muscle. The crowd in shock, the commentary team split, Cody walks to the center of the ring and raises his hands, a smile reaching from one side of his face, to the other. He then looks down at Kaz, and with a cocky stare, goes for the pin. 

1. . . 2. . .3!!!

The bell rings and the crowd lets Cody and his friends hear it. Boos rain down left and right as Rhodes stands up, laughing in celebration. 

Here's your winner and the NEW, United States Champion. . . Cody Rhodes!!!

The title is handed to Cody and he instantly raises it over his head. Christian, MVP and Shelton all congregate around Cody, congratulating him on his title win, celebrating the moment with him.

I don't know what we just witnessed here tonight, but it sickens me to the very core. How could you Cody, how could you?

Oh hush, we've finally gotten the old Cody Rhodes back, and it seems as though he's bringing some friends!

The four men stand in the middle of the ring and all at the same time raise their hands and take a bow. The show fades on Cody and Christian shaking hands, telling the WCF universe that this is only the beginning.
