...Perfect?

The lights drop and silence ensues in the arena for 30 seconds as the fans wonder whats coming next.

Orchestral music begins to play as a man is seen on screen catching a hail mary pass for a touchdown. The man turns to the camera with an arrogant smile and says: “Perfect.”

The man is then seen taking a penalty shot in a hockey rink, and with some nice moves he easily scores. Once again the man turns to the camera and says: “Perfect”

As the next piece of the vignette begins with an all-too expected piece of footage with the man on a basketball court, there is a sudden stop. The video goes to a black screen.


The mans voice is then heard again: “I don't need ANY of this.”

The screen turns on again to reveal a very serious, menacing looking Curt Hennig.


As he sneers, he continues to speak: “You've already seen all of that before. You all know who I am. Or atleast you think you do... I don't need to hide behind my athletic abilities in any other sport. I'm coming to the WCF for one thing, and one thing only... to be the best wrestler of all time. And if you think you have what it takes to get in my way, than so be it. Do so at your own peril. Because the man before you needs no gimmicks, no frills, no accessories and certainly no cheesy video packages to make it to the top.
Am I perfect? I guess you'll just have to find out for yourself. On my time. Not yours.”

The video comes to an abrupt end, leaving a slightly hushed crowd in bewilderment.

If you wanted to, we use to have a Mr. Perfect before that you could go off of. He was a tag team champion, was in a stable with Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho, and was Mr. Money in the Bank before he suddenly disappeared. That could easily help you if you were to need material or something to help you promo with. But again, its totally up to you.

Also, for a short promo it gives a very good job of showing that we are getting a heel Perfect, which is probably the best kind of Perfect. With the recent storyline and his IRL background I feel once he catches wind of the Corporation vs n.W.o. storyline he might want in 

Any information about the previous 'Perfect' would definitely help. I didn't know how to get the ball rolling, but one thing I wanted to stress was that Hennig wants to distance himself from the Mr. Perfect gimmick this time around. I'm going to have to read up on the current storylines and goings-on before posting another promo. Thanks!

Short but sweet. I love that you started it off differently than most other people would have. You didn't do the typical, "I'm here to win titles, I'm here to be the best." You gave us REASONS as to why you were going to be the best and I certainly hope that becomes true.  I look forward to your next promo and what you can do in a feud once you start one.
