After Nitro's opening theme plays the crowd is riled up. The lights dim and Cody Rhodes' them hits.
The crowd pops at the sight of Rhodes, who is wearing his ring gear, a mic in his right hand, a smile on his face. He begins to walk down the ramp heading straight for the ring.
As he nears the ring he stops and takes a deep breath. He then proceeds to enter the ring, walking up the steel steps and slowly sliding through the ropes. He props himself in the center of the ring and brings the mic to his mouth.
Hello WCW universe, and welcome to Cody Rhodes' Monday Night Nitro! And tonight I have a special treat for all of you! Last week I brought you all the Nitro roulette, and tell me if I'm lying, but I think you all enjoyed it! And tonight I plan on bringing you even more enjoyment! Tonight, live in Montville, Connecticut, we are hosting Rage in a Cage! That's right, all of the high caliber matches will be contested inside of the devilish steel cage!
The crowd erupts with chants and cheers as Rhodes grins, taking in the excitement.
I'm glad you're excited, because so am I! You see, besides all of that, I've finally chosen my team for Bash at the Beach! I've found two men that I am going to lead into Bash at the Beach to fight Dolph's band of goons. Now I don't know who Mr. Ziggler is bringing with him just yet, Punk, Orton or maybe that other guy. . .what was his name? Aces? Adams? No, no it's Axel! That's right. But let me honest, it doesn't really matter who he brings at this point. Because regardless of my two teammates, I'm going to be bringing everything that I have to this match. All of my hate, all of my regret, all of my strength. The fact is, Dolph, I don't need a team to take you down, but you need one. You see, this match isn't for me Dolph, it's for you. I know that I can beat you one on one, as seen in the past, but you, you've always needed help, isn't that right? The T.V. title match at Spring Stampede? I helped you. That whole business with Booker T? I helped you. You know it in your heart Dolph, you can't do anything alone. Because you're a coward.
Cody lowers the mic for a moment and lets out a small laugh. He then looks directly at the camera and raises his mic.
Dolph, in two weeks time we're going to be meeting for the last time. In two weeks time, not only will I end you're little circle jerk, but I will lay you, and Bad Influence to rest and become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. In two weeks time, Dolph, I will end your career. When my team meets your team, we are going to go to the extreme. Mind the rhyme if you will. Punk, Orton, Axel, it doesn't matter, they're all the same to me. Puppets. Puppets that I am going to tear down. Burn, ruin, end.
Cody then turns to the entrance way and smirks.
Now, if you'll all please welcome the men that are going to help me put an end to Dolph's little spree. . . Gentleman!
Rhodes lowers his mic and points to the ramp, awaiting his teammates arrival.

John Morrison struts out from the curtains and does his signature, holding the Money in The Bank Briefcase high in the air. The crowd boos at his entrance as he begins to swagger down to the ring.
Tenay: And that is John Morrison, Money in The Bank winner and apparently a member of Cody Rhodes team! We saw last week Cody talk to him, but Morrison was then seen to leave the arena without completing match. I guess he took the time to think it over.
Heenan: Ugh. I know everyone thinks I just like every bad guy who walks through that curtains, but God do I hate this kid.
Tenay:John Morrison is the self-professed "Shaman of Sexy", So I can see where you're coming from. He's arrogant and flamboyant, but he has backed it up in the ring. And that briefcase, which guarantees him a shot at the WCW World Title, is the best proof of all.
Heenan: I still hate him.
Morrison enters the ring and grabs a mic before standing before Cody with a huge grin on his face.
Morrison: Well Cody, isn't this awkward?
Morrison: Y'know I don't really know what is wrong with the world of Wrestling. This was supposed to be about athletes who could wow audiences and with beautiful movement and entertainers. Yet wherever I go, I'm constantly screwed by higher-ups. It was the same in the WWE, where I was never given a chance at the top. Then I come to WCW, and after defeating everybody thrown my way week-in, week-out Bischoff screws me by throwing me into a crappy tournament where I was screwed out of it by, uhm, oh yeah. You.
Morrison's demeanor changes as he becomes more angry
Morrison: I then go on to win MitB and that idiot Bischoff is removed from power. I start to think this is finally my chance. Then I turn up on Nitro to find I'm in a meaningless tag match with Paul Wight. And while I then go on to win the match for both of us, I end the night with nothing planned for the PPV while everyone else is given title shots because you feel like being Santa Claus. IT would never work Cody. Red isn't your colour and we've all seen your totally disgusting attempts at facial hair.
Morrison laughs at his own joke then begins to pace around the ring while talking.
Morrison: And now you come to me asking you to help you? Mainly because your pet project Paul Wight now has a bigger match than this? Y'know, When I turned up last week, I realised my problem. I'm giving too much of myself to WCW. I'm putting in so much effort and it's not worth it. All those wins apparently meant nothing to Bischoff and mean nothing to you. All those other members of the roster, they get given everything. So Jomo is no longer going to do anything unless there's an obvious reason for doing it. That's why I took off from Nitro last week. Morrison is not going to wrestle a pointless match without some gold at the end of the rainbow.
Suddenly, for no reason, Morrison removes his jacket
Morrison: So how about this then. I'll join your team and fight the good fight. But only on some "conditions"[/i]
Heenan: Oh God.
Morrison removes a sheet of paper from his pocket and clears his throat ready to read from it
Morrison: Ahem. Number One: You fire the Make-up girl Susy. She doesn't use enough blusher and my cheeks are not fully defined under the T.V. lights.
Heenan: Meh, I'm ok with that..
Number Two: I am given a fresh bottle of body oil at every episode of Nitro and every taping of Thunder.
Heenan: Understandable.
Number Three: WCWShopzone begins a line of John Morrison t-shirts with the phrase "#Morriswag" on the chest. Also, don't make any sizes above medium. I do not want fat people trying to rip on my swag.
Heenan: He's kidding right?
And finally, Number Four: A personal trainer paid for in full by WCW. If we're going to the beach I want my rock-hard abs to be even rock-hardier.
Tenay: Rock-hardier? Is that even a word?
Heenan: I really do hate this job.
Morrison stands with a grin on his face awaiting the reply of cody when suddenly...
